This trip starts with a flight or a train ride to Nagpur to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and helped in travelling to the hotel. Check-in, and take some rest later and you will begin to explore the capital city of India. Start with visiting the India gate, a war memorial, which has green lawns extending around it. It is a good place to walk around in the evenings. Go on to Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House to view the fabulous architectural marvels externally. Thereafter, go to Raj Ghad, a small yet a strong monument of Mahatma Gandhi. You can also visit Qutub Minar (UNESCO World Heritage) in case you have time or visit Lotus Temple with its distinct design and serene environment. Dine and spend the night at your hotel and end the day in Delhi.
Have breakfast and leave your hotel and head to Agra, which is approximately 2 hours away. On arrival go to the Taj Mahal, which is the monument of the undying love constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan to his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is particularly beautiful in the daytime, and the white marble of it makes it an ideal location to take photos and appreciate things. The second UNESCO site worth visiting is Agra Fort which is also a monument of Mughal architecture. Wander in its fine palaces, the court-room, and the courts. Go on to Mathura, some 1.5 hours away on the way to Agra, by afternoon. Mathura is known to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna and is very welcoming with its devotion and beauty. You can also participate in the aarti in the evening at the Vishram Ghat on Yamuna River which is a peaceful and spiritual experience. Spend the night at your Hotel in Mathra.
Begin your day by visiting Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple which is the supposed birthplace of Lord Krishna. The temple complex is also full of devotion and the spiritual energy can be experienced as one walks through. Then visit Dwarkadhish Temple which is colorfully decorated with beautiful structures. You may spend some time walking around the busy local markets around the area, where you will be able to purchase some souvenirs, handicrafts or sweets such as pedas, a specialty of Mathra. If you have time left, go for a brief visit to Govardhan hill, or to Gokul, both related very closely with the incidents of the childhood of Lord Krishna. Return to your hotel for rest. Overnight stay in Mathura.
On the last day you can go to Birla Mandir, according to your schedule or just have a brief walk through the bustling lanes of Mathura and drive away. It will then take you back to Delhi to get your flight or Nagpur by train.
