Plan your Chardham trip from Hyderabad are April to June and from September to October. Clear skies and temperatures make these months perfect for planning a comfortable journey. The route gets less crowded from September to October, so you can plan a wonderful journey from Hyderabad during this time. The suitable time for a seamless and spiritually enlightening journey is before and after the monsoon.
By Flight – Jolly Grant Airport of Dehradun is the nearest airport to the Chardham route from Hyderabad. Once you reach Dehradun, you can easily hire a taxi or bus to visit Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.
By Train – Take a train journey from Hyderabad to Haridwar or Rishikesh and then continue your journey to Chardham destinations by taxi.
By Road – From Hyderabad to Haridwar/Rishikesh, you can take a drive by taxi or bus and then travel by road via taxi or bus.
Begin your Char Dham Yatra Package from Hyderabad by flight to Haridwar. Rajasthan Cab’s representative will let you to the hotel transfer after you arrive in Haridwar. Complete the check-in formality and relax for some time. In the evening, get ready to explore the religious sites of Haridwar like Har ki Pauri, Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, Kankhal, Maya Devi Temple, Shantikunj, Sapt Rishi Ashram. Stay overnight in Haridwar.
Start your next day early with a small puja ceremony at the banks of the Ganges River. Take a helicopter from Haridwar to Kharsali near Yamunotri. (Helicopter charges are not included in this tour). After reaching Kharsali, proceed for a trek of 6 km to Yamunotri or hire a horse or palanquin.
Visit Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to the source of the Yamuna River. If time allows, visit the nearby Sanki Temple, dedicated to Lord Saturn. In the evening, return to your pre-booked hotel in Haridwar for an overnight stay
After a healthy breakfast, get ready for a helicopter ride from Haridwar to Harsil near Gangotri. From there, you can take a jeep or taxi to Gangotri Temple, located about 20 km away. Visit the Gangotri Temple, the source of the Ganges River, considered the holiest river in Hinduism. Attend a puja ceremony in the holy water of the Ganges, and spend time here. Later in the evening, return to the hotel in Haridwar for an overnight stay.
Take an early morning helicopter ride from Guptkashi to Kedarnath. Once you reach Kedarnath Temple, worship the deity and feel it pleasant surroundings. The highest temple of all the Char Dhams, Kedarnath Temple is located at an elevation of over 3,500 meters. Be ready for the cold weather and high altitude. Worship the Kedarnath temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Due to its high altitude and limited facilities, most devotees avoid staying overnight in Kedarnath. So, you can return to Guptkashi in the evening for a relaxing night stay.
The next day, take a helicopter from Guptkashi to Badrinath. One of the holy shrines for Vaishnavites among the 108 divya desams incarnation of Lord Vishnu, Badrinath is a must-visit place on this sacred route. The temple is in the silent valley of Garhwal Himalayas on the seashore of flowing Alaknanda water. Stay overnight in Badrinath.
Today morning, perform a puja at the Badrinath Temple and then take a helicopter ride back to Haridwar. This ends your Chardham yatra! You may spend some relaxing time while exploring Haridwar. Stay overnight in Haridwar.
On the last day of your journey, head back to the airport to board a flight connecting to your hometown – Hyderabad. The tour concludes here with lots of amazing memories.
April to June and September to October, are the most suitable time to discover Chardham. It’s best to avoid the monsoon season due to unfortunate landslides, etc.
