Day-Wise Itinerary
Day 1: Rishikesh to Ghangaria
And begin with your Tempo Traveller of Rishikesh in a picturesque tour of the hills of the Ganga and that of the Himalayan foothills. Take vacations occasionally to take beautiful pictures of rivers and mountains. Arriving at Govindghat, the last leg of the trip starts at Ghangaria, a very small rustic village in the mountains, and is a distance of 13 km. Take yourself to your guesthouse and relax and spend some time in that serene environment. It is a new twist on a yatra as the mountain is new and other surroundings are new. Day 2: Valley of flowers, Hemkund Sahib
Summoned up in the morning after having eaten a nutritious breakfast at Hemkund Sahib, 4,632 meters at 4.30 A.M. go visit Gurudwara, pray at Gurudwara and observe the weapon shots of Himalayas. Eat lunch in Ghangaria and start walking in the afternoon to Valley of Flowers, which is a UNESCO heritage site. Tramping upon the Alpine valleys, laden with flowers of all sorts, streams, exotic flora. It is simply an unerasable day courtesy of the spiritual worship and the glory of nature. Go back to Ghangaria and camp.
Day 3: Ghangaria to Rishikesh
Take your Tempo Traveller and go down to Ghangaria and the Govindghat and start your breakfast after which you can direct your driver to bring you back to Rishikesh. Take the last scenic experience riding through the mountain and along rivers by the memories and photographs of magnificent Himalayas. Come in Rishikesh whether in the evening or not and get your Hemkund Yatra finished with full heart, adventure and nature.
