Day 1: Mumbai to Chandigarh ( By Flight)

In the evening, walk around the Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake and Sector 17 Market to experience the local way of life. Overnight in Chandigarh.

 

Day 2: Chandigarh to Shimla (115 km)

Breakfast, then drive to Shimla, the once British summer capital encircled by pine and cedar trees. Arrive at the hotel and check in. Spend the evening on The Mall, The Ridge and Christ Church. The beauty of old colonial buildings and the view from Scandal Point should not be missed. Overnight in Shimla.

Day 3: Excursion to Kufri and Naldehra.

Today, visit Kufri, a small hill town a mere 20 km away from Shimla, and it has panoramic views of the Himalayas and an adventure park. In the future, visit Naldehra, which was one of the oldest golf courses in the cedar forests in India. Go back to Shimla in the evening and have a leisurely walk through Mall Road. Day 8: Dalhousie – Excursion to Khajjiar (20 km)

Explore Khajjiar, which has been dubbed the Mini Switzerland of India. It is surrounded with deodar forests and huge meadows, making it perfect to walk and relax. Ride a horse or have a photo shoot at Khajjiar Lake. Come back to Dalhousie and stay overnight.

Day 9: Dalhousie to Amritsar (200 km) – Departure.

Drive to Amritsar in the morning after having breakfast. Explore a spiritual and architectural wonder, the Golden Temple, and then observe the Wagah Border ceremony. During the evening, fly or train back to Mumbai with memories that you will not forget of your journey to Himachal.
