You can take a flight to Goa and then go by road to Shimla. This is a ride along smooth highways and into the initial views of the hills. Check in, take a rest, and go on an evening walk on Mall Road, Lakkar Bazaar, and the Ridge.  

Spend a day in the colonial Shimla. See the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Jakhoo Temple, Christ Church and Scandal Point. End the day with a serene evening at the Ridge, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.  

Explore the Himalayan landscape and adventure sports in Kufri. On to Narkanda, a small town with much about it, an apple belt. Optionally, hike Hatu Peak and spend the peaceful evening in the untouched nature.

In the morning, go to Namgyal Monastery, Bhagsu Falls, and St John's Church, and then go to Dalhousie. Arrive, check in, and take an overview of the peaceful colonial-style architecture of the town.  

Explore Khajjiar or the mini Switzerland of India. Play in the fields, in the woods, along the lakes, and in the photo areas. Go back to Dalhousie in the evening.  

Go to Amritsar and fly to Goa, bringing beautiful memories of the mountains of Himachal.
