Day 1: Ghaziabad to Shimla (340 km)

Start on the road at Ghaziabad or by train at Kalka to Shimla. You will land in the beautiful capital of Himachal Pradesh that is characterised by colonial architecture and mountain beauty. Once you have checked in, take a leisurely evening walk down The Ridge and Mall Road, and go to Christ Church and Scandal Point. Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 2: Shimla – Kufri and Mashobra Excursion.

In the morning, take a day trip to Kufri, one of the most picturesque hill resorts in Himachal, with the Himalayan Nature Park and the snowy panoramic view. Go on to Mashobra, with its apple trees and deodar woods, which make a calm effect. Get back to Shimla in the evening to have leisure time and to shop. Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 3: Shimla to Manali via Kullu (250 km)

Then, after the breakfast, drive to Manali, passing by the winding mountainous roads and Beas River Valley. Visit Kullu, where we can visit the Shawl Factory and the market of handicrafts. On reaching Manali, relax in the hotel. The evening is to be spent at your own free time, visiting cafes and the picturesque town centre. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 4: Manali – Solang Valley and Local Sightseeing.

Day 5: Manali – Rohtang Pass Excursion (Optional)

Go on an excursion to Rohtang Pass (permit needed) in case of good weather. The mountain pass is very high and the view of the snow-capped mountains and glaciers is magnificent. Go to Rahala Falls and play in the snow. Go to Manali in the evening and have some leisure. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 6: Manali to Dharamshala (235 km)

Drive to Dharamshala, a serene hill town, enclosed by the Dauladhar ranges. Get into your hotel and have a rest. During the evening, pay a visit to Dalai Lama Temple, St John's Church and Bhagsunag Waterfall. Visit the colourful Tibetan market of McLeod Ganj and go back to dinner. One night stay at Dharamshala.

Day 7: Dharamshala to Dalhousie (120 km)

Following breakfast, tour Dalhousie, a colonial hill station, which is a cedar forest with old-world aesthetics. Visit and check in at Panchpula, Subhasboli and St Francis Church. Experience the beautiful mountain air and landscape. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.

Day 8: Dalhousie – Khajjiar Excursion (20 km).

The next thing to do after breakfast is to make a short journey to Khajjiar, also referred to as the Mini Switzerland of India. Explore the green meadow bordered with thick forests and Khajji Nag Temple, and ride a horse or a zorb. Go back to Dalhousie in the evening and do some shopping at the Gandhi Chowk. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.

Day 9: Dalhousie to Amritsar (200 km) - Departure.

Breakfast and travel to the city of Amritsar, which is one of the most spiritual and historical Indian cities. Get to the Jallianwala Bagh and Golden Temple. During the evening, you can also observe the patriotic Wagah Border, after which you will go back to Ghaziabad.
