Tour Overview

A trip between central India and the Himalayas provides any traveller with a new taste of a break. This is what Himachal Tour Packages from Nagpur offer: fresh air, beautiful hills and small mountain towns. Most Nagpur tourists also travel to northern regions through Himachal Tour Packages. They desire to make comparisons between cultures, architecture and landscapes. Others want the comfort of a Himachal luxury package from Nagpur. Some of them find the chilly, accommodative ambience of a Himachal family holiday from Nagpur and the romantic atmosphere of a Himachal honeymoon package from Nagpur. Himachal is a natural vacation destination that is an open valley with forested and lovely hill towns. This is a programmed itinerary to make the trip easy and pleasant within a 10-day trip.

Day-by-Day

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nagpur to Delhi (Arrival)

Your trip starts with you arriving in Delhi by train or plane overnight. The best place to enter Himachal at Nagpur is Delhi. Upon arrival, rest at the hotel and visit local markets or India Gate in the evening.

Day 2: Delhi to Shimla (Approx. 235-245 km)

Begin early and have a hassle-free ride to Shimla. The ride presents different topographies—plains followed by pine-covered hills. Arriving at Shimla, find accommodation and stroll about Mall Road, Ridge and its lanes to enjoy a light evening.

Day 3: Shimla to Narkanda (Approx. 60–65 km One Way)

Spend the day in the small and serene town of Narkanda, a place with apple orchards and mountain views. See Hatu Peak, walk the forest, and breathe in the fresh air of the mountains. Go back to Shimla in the evening.

Day 4: Shimla to Manali (Approx. 250 km)

The day drive will see you through Kullu Valley, river curves, and lovely villages. Visit the Kullu Shawl industry, Sundar Nagar Lake and Pandoh Dam. Reach Manali in the evening and have a good time in the riverfront or Old Manali cafes.

Day 5: Manali Local Sightseeing

A good day to visit the cultural and natural sightseeing of Manali. See Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht Hot Springs and Van Vihar. Visit local markets, taste local food, and enjoy the local young-town atmosphere.

Day 6: Manali to Naggar (Approx. 25–30 km) + Solang Option

Make a brief tour to Naggar, a beautiful old village. Visit Naggar Castle and the Roerich Art Gallery and have a sightseeing trip along the river. You can go on to Solang Valley (approximately 1315 km from Manali) with optional activities, which you might have time to do. Return to Manali or spend the night at Naggar.

Day 7: Manali to Dharamshala (Approx. 230-240 km)

Travel to Dharamshala by green hills, tea gardens and small mountain towns. Once there, you must see McLeodganj, Dalai Lama Temple, and Tibetan Market. The serene environment is excellent for rest.

Day 8: Dharamshala to Dalhousie (Approx. 120 km)

Go to Dalhousie, a small hill station of old colonial character. See St. John's Church, Mall Road and Subash Chowk. Devour the scenic beauty and the cool climate.

Day 9: Dalhousie to Khajjiar (Approx. 20–22 km One Way)

You should definitely visit Khajjiar, which is also known as the mini Switzerland of India. Stroll through meadows and over forests, along a peace-loving lake. Attempt short walks and horse riding. Return to Dalhousie in the evening and spend the night there.

Day 10: Dalhousie to Pathankot (Approx. 85–90 km) and Departure

Go to Pathankot to take your train or flight home. Until you have to go back, spend your remaining time in local markets or have a final mountain view.
