Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Amritsar – Haridwar

Take the Char Dham Yatra to Haridwar via Amritsar via Dehradun or via a road being built to go straight to the city Char Dham Yatra from Surat by Car. Arrive at the hotel in which you can check in. Before evening, you can also visit the famous Ganga Aarti of the Har Ki Pauri whereby thousands of people also pray by the holy river Ganga. Listen to its religious atmospheres and melodies, your heart is calm in peace. Start your spiritual pilgrimage in the rainbow city of Amritsar and make your way to the religious passage of Haridwar, one of the Char Dham Yatra.

Haridwar is accessible through Dehradun or the emerging direct road road which is being built at the moment. You will arrive at the hotel where you will be registered and you will have a relaxing time after the long drive. One of the seven most sacred places in India, Haridwar, translates to the Gateway to God as this is the place where the River Ganga exits out of the mountains and flows into the plains. Day 2: Haridwar – Barkot

Day 3: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

Breakfast and shift to Janki Chatti that is the base point of the trek towards Yamunotri Temple (some six kilometers on a one-way trek). You may use a pony or a doli to make your life easier. take a dip in holy water of Surya Kund, honour Divya Shila and be blessed in Yamunotri Temple which is the origin point of River Yamuna. In the evening Barkot went back by Char Dham Yatra from Surat by flight.. Early breakfast then, drive to Janki Chatti which is the starting point of the trek to Yamunotri Temple

The distance of six kilometers is walkable, or renting a pony or doli can be used to have a comfortable time. On your way up, you will have some breathtaking sight of falling waterfalls, mountain streams, and thick forests. The spiritual aura intensifies as you go close to the temple.Get a holy bath in the Surya Kund, a natural hot spring, and then pay homage to the Divya Shila and the Yamunotri Temple, the source of the holy River Yamuna. Day 4: Barkot – Uttarkashi

Day 5: Gangotri -Guptkashi

It is a long but very fulfilling path, full of spectacular scenery and spirituality.

 

Day 6: Guptkashi – Kedarnath

After that reach the Kedarnath Shrine one of the twelve Jyotirlings of Lord Shiva and more so go through the evening Aarti that takes place amidst the Himalayan serenity. Have breakfast and then go towards one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, which is called Kedarnath. The trip to Kedarnath includes a drive to a place called Gaurikund, and then the trek or heli-flight. It is colder and cleaner as you climb up and the view of the snowy peaks gives a surreal experience.

Take part in the Aarti in the evening when the valley is filled with the sounds of the chants and bells that fill the soul with divine peace. The religious influence of the location creates an indelible mark on any pilgrim. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

Day 7: Kedarnath – Badrinath

On reaching, have a bath in Tapt Kund and worship in Badrinath Temple. In the evening take the Sandhya Aarti when the people are reciting their hymns and receiving blessings. Once you have had your early morning darshan at Kedarnath, start your trip to another major Dham known as Badrinath which is a Dham of Lord Vishnu. Upon arrival, have a purifying bath in the Tapt Kund, a natural hot spring that is believed to be a remedy. Then, go to the Badrinath Temple, gold-carved and richly decorated in architecture. During the evening, visit the **Sandhya Aarti, a peaceful event by singing hymns, using lamps and incense that increases the spiritual ambiance. The recitation of mantras and bells provide an out of this world effect.

 

Day 8 : Badrinath via Mana Village -Rishikesh -Amritsar

Mana Village After breakfast, Yesterday had an Indian village known as the Mana village which bordered Tibet. See Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa and Saraswati River which are so vivid in their mythological importance. . Following breakfast, explore the contribution of the last Indian village before the Tibetan border, the Mana Village. Visit mythological places of interest such as the Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa and the Saraswati River, each having their own story about them as recounted in old scriptures. In the serene village, one can have a glimpse of the old-fashioned life of the Himalaya and experience the marvels of nature.Then later, make your way back to Rishikesh which is a hub of yoga and spirituality where you have a few minutes to go around the ashrams and suspension bridges before moving back to Amritsar. By the end of your Char Dham Yatra, you would have not only beautiful memories of beautiful sceneries, but you would also walk away with a heart that has been blessed with God and a soul that has been filled with spiritual contentment.
