Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Indore - Dehradun - Yamunotri Dham
The spiritual journey starts at very early morning hours at the Indore Airport to the Dehradun where Char Dham Yatra starts in the airplane. Upon arrival, you will be met by your tour representative and taken to the helipad where you will take a flight to Kharsali that is the base of Yamunotri Temple.
You will also walk or ride on a pony/palki to the first Dham of Kharsali to Yamunotri. It is a beautiful temple and is located in Yamuna river and is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna.
Praying in the Yamunotri Temple, you must have some quiet moments in the quietness of environment which you can find in the Yamuna River and singing of the hymns. This landscape of snowy mountain and green fields with green grass adds to the holiness of the place. You may also visit the Surya Kund which borders it where it is cooked, and presented by devotees in the naturally boiling water, as prasad, rice and potato. Spend the night in Kharsali and you will be prepared to proceed to the next sacred spot by the calm mountain and the soul.
Day 2: Yamunotri โ Gangotri Dham
