Detailed Itinerary
You reach Jaipur (by rail or by flight at Pune) and will be met by a representative of Rajasthan Cab who will accompany you to the hotel. Jaipur tour begins with the visit of City Palace which is a Mughal and Rajasthani structure after arrival and relaxation. Go close to the Jantar Mantar, observatory and a UNESCO world heritage site, in its immediate proximity.
After breakfast, tour the great forts of Jaipur all day long. The starting point is the Amber Fort where you can either walk or ride an elephant. Indoors, see Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace) and Diwan-i-Aam. Then see Jaigarh Fort which has the largest wheeled cannon of the world. And finally, see Nahargarh Fort, overlooking the Pink City. Evening: Spend some hours purchasing souvenirs either in Johari Bazaar or in Bapu Bazaar which sells hand crafts, gems and textiles.
Start the day with the visit to the oldest museum in Rajasthan the Albert Hall Museum that holds royal paintings and artifacts.Then go to the Birla Temple, which is a beautiful white marble temple in honor of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Lunch and a little time in free time to discover something yourself or go to the studio of an artisan. The remaining time will be at the airport or the railway station to go back to Pune and have memories to savour of the Pink City.
