The golden triangle circuit is about 700-800 km, and it is capable of being done within a comfortable period of 5-7 days. One of the most common ways is a route, which originates in Delhi and goes further south (agra, approximately 210 km) and then further (jaipur, approximately 240 km) and then back to the starting point (delhi, approximately 280 km).
The road has flexibility and scenic drive, however, trains and short domestic flights can also be used. Tour packages will also include English-speaking guides and private drivers that will make international travellers have a hassle-free trip.
When venturing out, dress, apply sunscreen and remember to hydrate, particularly in summer. You should not pass up on trying the local delicacies- street food in Delhi such as chaat and kebabs, petha (sweet) in Agra, daal bati churma and laal maas at Jaipur.
Special touches to the trip are evening trips like Sound and Light Show in Red Fort or heritage dinner in Jaipur.
This is the season to be there, the weather is cool and pleasant and this would be the best time to sightsee and do other outdoor activities. The temperatures are normally 10degC to 25degC.
It may get too hot, up to 40° C, and particularly in Jaipur and Agra, yet that is when you could get some off-season offers. It is advisable to go to monuments in the morning.
On the one hand, the humidity may increase because the rains have become a refreshing force to the landscapes. Nevertheless, the reduced number of tourists makes it a quiet season to sightsee.
