Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Bhubaneswar to Delhi – Arrival

Catch a flight from Bhubaneswar to Delhi, landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport. On arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel for check in. After a long flight, it’s a good day to take it easy and get some rest. In the evening, you can simply go out for a leisurely walk through Connaught Place or neighbourhood markets to have a look at Delhi's lively lifestyle. Overnight stay in Delhi.

 

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

Begin your exploration of the capital city after breakfast.  Visit Old Delhi first thing in the morning.  You can go to Jama Masjid or just browse Chandni Chowk for lovely ethnic clothing.  Visit the Lotus Temple, a lovely contemporary building that resembles a flower and is surrounded by peaceful grounds.  Akshardham Temple is a stunning, contemporary temple complex including exquisite water features and carvings.  In the afternoon, go on to Lodi Gardens, a wonderful green area with jogging paths and historic tombs that are perfect for relaxing.  Visit Dilli Haat, a cultural market where you can purchase handicrafts from several Indian states and savor some delectable street cuisine, to cap off the day.  You can also go to Red Fort or India Gate in the evening.

 

Day 3: Delhi to Agra via Sikandra

After breakfast, drive to Agra. En route visit Sikandra, Emperor Akbar s mausoleum which is a mixture of Hindu, Muslim and Persian design. After arriving in Agra, complete your registration at the lodge. Enter the lounges of Itimad-ud-Daulah' s Tomb, named as "Baby Taj" for its attractive marble inlay less crowded, but equally beautiful like Taj Mahal. Overnight stay in Agra.

 

Day 4: Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

Kick-start your day with a mesmerizing sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, an experience that would stay with you for a lifetime. After breakfast at the hotel drive to Jaipur. On the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the old capital of Mughal Empire known for its grand doorways, palaces and Buland Darwaza. After returning to the car, proceed to Jaipur and transfer to your hotel. In the evening is an opportunity to walk in the vibrant colored bazaars of Jaipur, which offer jewellery, textiles and folk-based arts and crafts. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Visit the Taj Mahal before sunrise to begin your day with an unforgettable experience that will last a lifetime.  Drive to Jaipur after breakfast at the hotel.  While traveling, stop by Fatehpur Sikri, the former Mughal capital, which is renowned for its Buland Darwaza, palaces, and opulent doors.  Once you're back in the vehicle, go to Jaipur and check into your hotel.  There is a chance to stroll around Jaipur's colorful bazaars in the evening, which sell jewelry, textiles, and crafts based on folklore.  Spend the night in Jaipur.

 

Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing

Begin your day exploring the magnificent Amber Fort, an imposing hilltop fortress that you can drive or ride by elephant to reach and then traverse its lovely courtyards, Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), and royal apartments. Later, stop by the City Palace, where Jaipur’s former royal family still lives, and the Jantar Mantar, the astrological observatory established by Maharaja Jai Singh II. In the afternoon visit the popular Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds with eye-catching pink windows.Conclude your sightseeing with a visit to either the Albert Hall Museum or Patrika Gate which are both great for photographs. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

 

Day 6: Jaipur to Delhi – Departure

After breakfast, hotel checkout proceeds to return to Delhi. If time permits, you can do some last minute shopping and will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Bhubaneswar with sweet memories of your Golden Triangle tour.
