It will be an early morning for you from Bhubaneswar to Delhi in flight. Then by overnight bus or flight from here, you reach Manali, which is a jumping point for Lahaul Spiti. Check-in at the hotel once you reach Manali and relax your whole day to adjust your body to the climatic conditions. In the evening, go through the local markets and breathe the cool mountain air.
Leave early in the morning as you take a drive from Manali to Jispa. Take the scenic route through the world-famous Rohtang Pass, which affords panoramic views of the towering mountains. Drive down into the Lahaul Valley and reach the administrative center, Keylong, and then onto Jispa, a tiny village on the banks of the Bhaga River. Spend your night at Jispa.
Drive from Jispa to Sarchu on day 3 over Baralacha La, one of the world's highest motorable passes. Enjoy a day-long journey that has breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, glacial streams, and vast meadows. The most famous camp is on the Himachal-Ladakh border, with starry nights and tented stays. It is simply an experience among the mighty Himalayas that cannot be described.
Today, you will enter the Spiti Valley, often referred to as "Little Tibet." The drive from Sarchu to Kaza takes you through the Kunzum Pass, affording panoramic views of the Spiti River and the surrounding mountains. Scenically, you'll notice a critical change as you begin to descend into this valley, with barren mountains and ancient monasteries dominating the horizon. Reach Kaza. Check into your hotel. Rest for the day.
Spend the day on local sightseeing around Kaza. Visit one of the oldest and most important monasteries of Spiti- the Key Monastery, sitting atop a hill with splendid valley views. From there proceed to Kibber Village with traditional houses typical to Spiti and a view from the heart of the landscape. You can also visit Langza Village, which is famous for its fossil-rich terrain and towering statue of Lord Buddha. Drive back to Kaza for an overnight stay.
Day 6 You will drive from Kaza to Chandratal Lake, an altitude lake known for its crystal-clear waters and the beautiful reflection that the mountains around it create. This is one of the most remote landscapes of Spiti. After arriving at Chandratal, you can spend some time taking in the serenity of this lake by camping for the night. Overnight stay in tents near Chandratal.
Begin your return journey to Manali, retracing your route through the Kunzum Pass and Rohtang Pass. The drive is long but incredibly scenic, with plenty of opportunities to stop and take in the views. Upon reaching Manali, check into your hotel and spend the evening relaxing or exploring the local markets. Overnight stay in Manali.

We were let down by a hire car company and my husband found Rajasthan Cab via an online search. We were so happy with the outcome. The car was smart and clean, the driver Mr Ramveer was an excellent, safe driver, friendly, smart, very attentive, polite and kind. The value for money was incredible compared to what we had expected to pay for the hire car and it meant we could relax throughout the journey. We hired Mr Ramveer for 4 days on our own itinerary. I would highly recommend this company to anyone travelling to Rajasthan, wanting to do a lot of sightseeing. The itineraries they offer are brilliant and your days will be packed out.

We had a great experience with Rajasthan cab. They upgraded us to a comfortable vehicle. Surendra was our driver and on his recommendation we hired a guide. He was very good too. We were picked up from airport and was able to complete all the popular attractions in a day. Then he dropped us at our hotel. I will use them again.

Very good communication with the company to make a custom scenario with good cost benefit. New and comfortable car. Driver Dheeraj was always very polite, caring and punctual in addition to being efficient in time management in chaotic Indian transit. He always provided water, drinks and snacks. Keep in mind that guides are a for each city and not a single guide that accompanies you through all cities. In my case, there were 5 cities visited in the custom route. I recommend the company.
