Drive you closer to the Spiti Valley, one day at a time. Drive you to Kaza, a town. You can halt at the town of Jispa on the way. This is one of the most beautiful villages that exist along the riverside of Bhaga River. A little ahead, view the entire Spiti Valley through Kunzum Pass. Reaching Kaza, check into a hotel and spend the rest of the day in the town by visiting it. Visit Sakya Tangyud Monastery, hill-top and spend time in this seclusion filled region. Night halt at Kaza.

Day four will entirely be spent exploring the weird fossil villages of Spiti. Spend your morning by visiting Langza, a village that features very old marine fossils and even sports a gigantic sculpture of Lord Buddha. The Tabo Monastery is one of the biggest in India and is popularly called the "Ajanta of the Himalayas" since it features beautiful murals and old manuscripts and has long been considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Drive from there to Dhankar. It is a cliff-top village on the confluence of Spiti and Pin rivers. It would be well worth visiting the Dhankar Monastery that houses a collection of Buddhist artifacts. The sun will set in with mountainous scenery with the visit being made to this peaceful lake-Dhankar. Night would be at Kaza.

This day is earmarked for Chandratal Lake, commonly referred to as the Moon Lake. It is one of the high altitude lakes where the water is quite crystalline with reflections of the mountain all around so breathtakingly beautiful. At an altitude of 4,300 meters. He or she can gift himself/herself the chance of having a very exciting time in merely undertaking a journey to Chandratal with dazzling vistas of the Spiti Valley. Spend some days by the lake soaking in serenity and take as much of that beauty to share with everybody through photographs, return back to Kaza.

The departure day; bid adieu to the Spiti Valley by a drive back to Manali. The same route that you took on the second last day, and did get the last glimpse of the great Himalayas. We were let down by a hire car company and my husband found Rajasthan Cab via an online search. We were so happy with the outcome. The car was smart and clean, the driver Mr Ramveer was an excellent, safe driver, friendly, smart, very attentive, polite and kind. The value for money was incredible compared to what we had expected to pay for the hire car and it meant we could relax throughout the journey. We hired Mr Ramveer for 4 days on our own itinerary. I would highly recommend this company to anyone travelling to Rajasthan, wanting to do a lot of sightseeing. The itineraries they offer are brilliant and your days will be packed out.

We had a great experience with Rajasthan cab. They upgraded us to a comfortable vehicle. Surendra was our driver and on his recommendation we hired a guide. He was very good too. We were picked up from airport and was able to complete all the popular attractions in a day. Then he dropped us at our hotel. I will use them again.

Very good communication with the company to make a custom scenario with good cost benefit. New and comfortable car. Driver Dheeraj was always very polite, caring and punctual in addition to being efficient in time management in chaotic Indian transit. He always provided water, drinks and snacks. Keep in mind that guides are a for each city and not a single guide that accompanies you through all cities. In my case, there were 5 cities visited in the custom route. I recommend the company.
