After an adventurous drive from Manali after a hearty breakfast we reach the village of Jispa which falls on the Bhaga River bank. Crossing Rohtang Pass gives some marvelous visions of snow-peaked mountains and lush valleys. As we cross into the Lahaul Valley the landscape becomes arid but not less beautiful deserts. You will drive through the scenic landscapes of Suraj Tal Lake and the small town of Keylong during the journey. You reach Jispa by evening, sleeping in the lap of mountains in peace.

You are now entering into the beautiful valley of Spiti. Another feast for the eyes is the drive from Jispa to Kaza, with rugged mountains, deep gorges, and pristine rivers running all along.
