Discover the beauty of North India with the Golden Triangle Tour Package from Chennai. We start from the culturally rich city of Chennai with its beautiful temples to gradually reach into the very heart of north India. From the bustle of Delhi through the eternal beauty of the Taj Mahal at Agra and on to the royal heritage of Jaipur, this is an intense mix of excitement and historical exploration amidst elegance, one that we will never forget, amidst a diversity of tradition and heritage in India.
Take your flight to Delhi from Chennai. On your arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, you will be received by our representative who will help you in transferring to the hotel. After check-in, relax and unwind. If you go out in the evening, take a short drive past India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan (the president’shouse) or walk around Connaught Place for shopping and street food. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Post breakfast, drive to the Pink city Jaipur. En route you can stretch your trip to Neemrana fort for photography and short breaks. On arrival in Jaipur,transfer and check in to your hotel. Evening is free for you to visit the colorful markets of Jaipur such as Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar for traditional Rajasthani jewellery, textile,and handicraft. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
After breakfast you will start exploring Jaipur for the Day. See the magnificent Amber Fort, even take an elephant ride or a jeep ride! Visit Sheesh Mahal and royal courtyards. Move on to the still-inhabited City Palace which is residence of Jaipur’s royal family and then go to Jantar Mantar, the UNESCO-heritage observatory. Don’t skip a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal.Later, wander through the crowded local bazaars where crafts, jewelry and colorful fabrics are on offer. Wander the quaint, old lanes of the City, where Havelis and traditional street life abound. Take in the sunset glows painting the city’s pink walls before you retire for the evening. In the evening you can visit the beautiful Patrika Gate or have a typical Rajasthani dinner with Traditional Performances. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
After breakfast, check out and start driving towards Agra. Visit the former Mughal capital, Fatehpur Sikri Buland Darwaza which is the highest gateway in the world and an astounding piece of beautiful architecture. Later, drive to Agra and check in at your hotel. Later, in the evening, experience a serene sunset view of the Taj at Mehtab Bagh, on the opposite bank of the Yamuna River. Overnight stay in Agra.
It will be a dawn you will never forget when you see the marvelous Taj Mahal in the soft light of sunrise. Post lunch your journey involves a visit to the Agra Fort, a UNESCO world heritage site exhibiting some of Mughal architectural grandeur. You can also check out the delicate marble inlay work of the beautiful Itimad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj). Drive back to Delhi in the evening. Check in at the hotel on your arrival and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight stay in Delhi.
See the Red Fort, Lotus Temple and Qutub Minar or unwind in Lodhi Gardens. If time of flight permits, do some last minute shopping in Dilli Haat or Janpath Market. You will fly to Agra and then you will come to see me after lunch and finally transfer to the airport for your flight to Chennai, your Golden Triangle tour concludes and you will carry away memories of this golden triangle tour.
India is a country of diversity, and so are these three Golden Triangle cities. Be ready to notice most of the customs, traditions, and etiquettes being set differently from those of Chennai. Openness toward the same shall, indeed, make this journey more exciting.
