Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad – Heritage Walk & Riverfront Evening

Get to Ahmedabad and check into your accommodation before starting your Gujarati journey. The Sabarmati Ashram is where Mahatma Gandhi resided and led important movements. Visit the Adalaj Stepwell to see its sculptures and Indo-Islamic architecture. The Sabarmati Riverfront is a great place to end your day. Stay in Ahmedabad for the night.

Day 2: Ahmedabad to Vadodara (111 km)β€”Palaces & Museums

Go to Vadodara, Gujarat's cultural capital. The majestic Laxmi Vilas Palace is famous for its regal architecture and museum collection. Visit Sayaji Baug, a big green park with a zoo and the Baroda Museum. Walk around the local markets at night and have some typical Gujarati foods. Stay in Vadodara for the night.

Day 3: Vadodara to Statue of Unity (95 km) – World’s Tallest Statue

Go to Kevadiya to see the Statue of Unity, a famous monument in honour of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Check see the Valley of Flowers, the Sardar Sarovar Dam perspective, and the Light & Sound display that puts Patel's trip to life. Go back to Vadodara for the night.

Day 4: Vadodara to Somnath (266 km) – Coastal Serenity & Temple Visit

Head towards Somnath, one of India's most important places of pilgrimage. Go to the Somnath Temple, which is famous for its long history and position on the seashore. After that, check out Bhalka Tirth and Triveni Sangam. Enjoy the calm environment of the Arabian Sea beach in the evening. Stay at Somnath for the night.

Day 5: Somnath to Dwarka (231 km) – Temples & Coastal Vibes

Go to Dwarka, which is another major place for pilgrims to go. One of the Char Dham locations is the Dwarkadhish Temple. Go to the local market and Gomti Ghat. Go for a relaxing stroll on Dwarka Beach in the evening. Spend the night at Dwarka.

Day 6: Dwarka & Beyt Dwarka – Spirituality & Island Visit

Visit Beyt Dwarka, an island that can be reached by boat and is said to be the home of Lord Krishna in ancient times. On your way back, check out Nageshwar Jyotirlinga and Gopi Talav. Spend the evening at Dwarkadhish Temple watching the evening aarti. Stay in Dwarka overnight.

Day 7: Dwarka to Jamnagar to Ahmedabad (140 km + 304 km) – City Tour & Return

Go to Jamnagar and see Lakhota Lake and the Lakhota Palace Museum. Keep going until you get to Ahmedabad, which should be by dusk. Manek Chowk is a great place to go late at night for snacks, local cuisine, and shopping. Stay in Ahmedabad for the night.

Day 8: Departure – Fly Back to Delhi

After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and go to Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station to go back to Delhi with great recollections of Gujarat's colorful culture and beautiful places.
