Day 1

Day 2

Day 2: From Ahmedabad to Vadodara (110 km) to see palaces and museums

After breakfast, go to Vadodara, a royal city with a lot of culture. Go to the beautiful Sayaji Gardens, Laxmi Vilas Palace, and Fateh Singh Museum. Walk around Sur Sagar Lake in the evening. Stay in Vadodara for the night.

Day 3

Day 3: From Vadodara to Kevadia (90 km) to see the Statue of Unity

Go to Kevadia, where the Statue of Unity is renowned all over the globe. Check out the viewing gallery, the Valley of Flowers, the Sardar Sarovar Dam perspective, and the laser display at night. This is a great thing for both couples and families. Stay in Kevadia for the night.

Day 4

Day 4: From Kevadia to Surat (150 km) - Coastal Culture

Take a drive to Surat, a city famous for its diamond, culinary, and textile markets. Visit Dutch Garden, Surat Castle, or Sarthana Nature Park, or go shopping in the well-known textile centres. Spend the evening at Dumas Beach. Stay in Surat overnight.

Go to Bhavnagar, a quiet city on the seaside. Go to the historic market alleyways, Ganga Deri, Barton Library, and Nilambagh Palace. Take a quiet stroll around Victoria Park in the evening. It's one of the oldest man-made woodlands. Spend the night at Bhavnagar.

Day 6

Day 6: Bhavnagar → Palitana (55 km) → Somnath (210 km)

Start early and travel to Palitana, the holy city that has more than 900 Jain temples on Shatrunjaya Hill. After a brief spiritual visit, go to Somnath. Go to the famous Somnath Temple for the evening aarti and light display. Spend the night at Somnath.

Day 7

Day 7: From Somnath to Gir (70 km)—Exciting Wildlife

Drive to Gir National Park, which is home to the only Asiatic lions in India. If you can, go on a forest excursion in the afternoon. You may see lions, deer, leopards, and a lot of different kinds of birds. Stay in Gir for the night.

Day 8

Day 8: Leave Gir and go to Junagadh (80 km)
