Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad—City Welcome.
Reach Ahmedabad, the principal port of Gujarat. Check in hotel and relax after the trip. In the afternoon visit Sabarmati Ashram, where children and adults can get a clear and meaningful idea about the freedom movement in India.
Walk later along the Sabarmati Riverfront. The surroundings, walks, and evening light are family-friendly. Eat dinner in a restaurant which offers family-friendly food and is a local Gujarati restaurant. Stay overnight in Ahmedabad.
Day 2: Ahmedabad – Akshardham – Science and Culture.
Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple in Gandhinarayan. Everyone is integrated in spirituality and learning through the carved temple, shows, and gardens.
In the afternoon visit a science or interactive museum in Ahmedabad. Children are able to have fun with tangible displays. Go to the evening market selling handicrafts or have local snacks. Stay overnight in Ahmedabad.
Day 3: Ahmedabad – Vadodara.
Breakfast and then drive to Vadodara, the city of the royal family and serene atmosphere. Take a room in your hotel and sleep.
Afterwards, pay a visit to Laxmi Vilas Palace which is one of the largest private residences in India. The museum and gardens offer a wonderful experience to both the kids and adults. Spent the evening in a local garden or have a rest at the hotel. Stay overnight in Vadodara.
Day 4: Vadodara – Statue of Unity.
Begin your day by driving to the direction of the Statue of Unity. Go to the museum and gallery where the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is described in an interesting manner to the families.
Go up the observation deck to have the expansive view of the Narmada River and hills. Walk through the Valley of Flowers later and attend evening laser light and sound show. Spend the night at the Statue of Unity.
Day 5: Statue of Unity – Nature and Leisure.
This is a day of visiting family-friendly places around the Statue of Unity. Visit the Zoo where children visit animals in open enclosures.
Visit Butterfly Garden and Cactus Garden later in the day, in order to have a relaxing time in color. During the evening accompany the Narmada Aarti or enjoy a small stroll up and down the river. Spend the night in the area of the Statue of Unity.
Day 6: Statue of Unity – Gir Region.
Breakfast and drive to Gir area. Travel to Reach Gir National Park and enter a tree-filled nature resort or lodge.
Evenings relax, walk around resort, or get to know about wildlife through interactive talks. This peaceful night allows children and older people to relax, prior to the safari. Stay overnight near Gir.
Day 7: Gir Safari – Somnath.
In the morning, take a guided jeep safari in Gir National Park. Asiatic lions and deer and a large number of birds are observed by the aid of guides that are trained in families.
Breakfast and then to Somnath. Check in to your hotel and pay a visit to the Somnath Temple by Arabian Sea. Watch the evening light and sound show which narrates a story to every age group. Stay overnight in Somnath.
Day 8: Somnath – Diu.
Breakfast then go to the seaside resort of Diu. Visit Diu Fort which is open space and has sea views that are good in taking family photos.
So then relax later at the Nagoa Beach, where children play on the sand and adults relax by the sea. This is a favorite family stop because it is a calm beach atmosphere. Stay overnight in Diu.
Day 9: Diu – Dwarka
Post breakfast visit Dwarka, the significant religious city in Gujarat. Reserve into your hotel and sleep. Visit Dwarkadhis Temple in the evening and observe aarti. Then have a peaceful stroll around Gomti Ghad, and allow families to experience spiritual and cultural ambiance. Stay overnight in Dwarka.
Day 10: Dwarka – Bet Dwarka – Ahmedabad.
Begin the day with the visit to Bet Dwarka. Arrive there in a little boat ride that children normally enjoy. Tour the island and temple environs. On going back to Dwarka, start the drive back to Ahmedabad. Check into a hotel and rest. Stay overnight in Ahmedabad.
Day 11: Ahmedabad – Departure.
Breakfast and then go on with the Gujarat Family Tour by departing Ahmedabad. Bring back togetherness experiences of temples, wildlife, beaches and culture.
