Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival from Tamil Nadu to Ahmedabad

You begin to travel when you reach Ahmedabad. Once you have checked in, visit Sabarmati Ashram, Kankaria Lakefront, and old city streets with wooden havelis. Leave daylight to get ready for the remaining part of the tour.

Day 2: Ahmedabad to Vadodara

Vadodara, the cultural capital of Gujarat. Visit the big Laxmi Vilas Palace, a palace of royal residence. Then have a rest in Sayaji Gardens or the Baroda Museum. The royal nature of the city provides a good mood for the visit.

Day 3: Vadodara to Champaner and Dakor

Go to Champaner, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with old mosques, fortification walls and hilltop ruins of Pavagadh. Then move to Dakor, which is famous for the Shree Ranchhodrai Temple, visited by numerous believers daily.

Day 4: Dakor to Anand and back to Ahmedabad

Begin the day with a brief visit to the Milk Capital of India, Anand. Go to the Amul Dairy Museum to know more about the cooperative movement. Go back to Ahmedabad in the afternoon and do some shopping at Law Garden or local markets.

Day 5: Ahmedabad to Modhera and Patan

Go to Modhera and visit the Sun Temple, whose style of stepwell, the Surya Kund, is old and has some carvings on it. Then visit Patan to see the beautiful Rani Ki Vav, a stepwell listed by UNESCO. It is also possible to observe Patola weaving by local artisans.

Day 6: Patan to Ambaji

Go to Ambaji, the sacred Ambaji Temple. This visit is special because of the peaceful surroundings of the Aravalli hills and the spiritual environment. In the evening, explore the temple's surrounding markets, brimming with spiritual souvenirs.

Day 7: Ambaji to Mount Abu

Pay a visit to Mount Abu, the lone hill station in the Aravalli Range. Rafting in Nakki Lake and the Dilwara Temples with marble work are also excellent places to enjoy. Mount Abu is an ideal place to have a rest during the tour due to the cool weather.

Day 8: Mount Abu to Bhuj

Go to Bhuj and enter the very center of the Kutch artistic culture. See Prag Mahal, Aina Mahal and the Kutch Museum. It may also involve a visit to Bhujodi village, where the artisans make textiles through the use of a handloom.

Day 9: Bhuj to Mandvi

Get out of Bhuj, and go to Mandvi, a beach town with long beaches, clean beaches, and breezes. Tour the Vijay Vilas Palace and relax at the Mandvi Beach. This is a refreshing change from temples and heritage sites.

Day 10: Mandvi to Dwarka

A visit from Mandvi to Dwarka, a major pilgrimage center. See Dwarkadheesh Temple, Gomti Ghat and the lighthouse area to enjoy the serene ocean views. One of the most peaceful experiences in Gujarat is the evening aarti in the temple.

Day 11: Dwarka to Somnath via Porbandar

Deer to Somnath with a brief stop at the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, which is Porbandar. Afterwards, go to Somnath to see the great sea-facing Somnath Temple. The night light and sound presentation makes the experience unforgettable

Day 12: Somnath to Gir and Junagadh; Departure to Tamil Nadu

Begin the day by travelling to Gir, the home of the Asiatic lions. Jeep safari is a wonderful wildlife sea-facing adventure. Go on to Junagadh to visit Uparkot Fort, Mahabat Maqbara and the ancient caves. Then later, start the journey back to Vadodara or Ahmedabad to leave Tamil Nadu, and the result is a rich circuit of 12 days.
