Dwarka Somnath Tour Package

Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad.

You arrive in Ahmedabad. Meet-and-greet, and then you are in your hotel having relaxations. Ashram Sabarmati, a quiet Ashram, or Sabarmati Riverfront may be visited later. It is free time in the evening. You spend the night in Ahmedabad.

Day 2: Ahmedabad Heritage Tour.

Travel around the old and the cultural places in Ahmedabad. See Adalaj Stepwell, the Pol streets of old, Jama Masjid, Sidi Saiyyed Mosque and local textile museums. The state of Gujarat can be seen at its best first with its food, markets and culture. Overnight in Ahmedabad.

Day 3: Ahmedabad to Dwarka.

Travel to Dwarka. On arrival, have a check in, rest and prepare to have an evening visit to Dwarkadhish Temple. It is a very spiritual experience, which is enhanced by the peaceful atmosphere and evening Aarti. Overnight stay in Dwarka.

Day 4: Dwarka Temple Tour.

Begin your day by a morning trip to Dwarkadhish Temple. Next to visit Rukmini Devi Temple, Sudama Setu, Gomti Ghat and Dwarka Beach. During the evening stroll through the temple streets, local markets and cultural areas. Overnight in Dwarka.

Day 5: Bet Dwarka Excursion.

Take a ferry to Bet Dwarka which is believed to be the ancient dwellings of lord Krishna. Tour the temple and coastal environment. On a second visit Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple and Gopi Talav. And the night is not paid as you like to see Aarti again. Overnight in Dwarka.

Day 6: Dwarka Coastal Relaxation.

Take this day to go through Dwarka at a slow pace. Take a walk on the beach, have a local meal, see serene temples or take pictures along Gomti Ghat. You can also visit other near by villages that have crafts and salt farming. Overnight in Dwarka.

Day 7: Dwarka to Porbandar.

Go to the birth place of Mahatma Gandhi (Porbandar). Explore Kirti Mandir, peaceful Sudama Temple, and Porbandar Beach. During evening visit local markets or have a sea view. Overnight in Porbandar.

Day 8: Porbandar Exploration.

Continue to explore the cultural sites in Porbandar. Visit Shri Hari Mandir, view exterior of Huzoor Palace, walk along Chowpatty Beach and wander along quiet streets. Take walks along the shore and snacks. Overnight in Porbandar.

Day 9: Porbandar to Somnath

Head to Somnath. Check into the hotel and visit the evening Aarti at Somnath Temple which is one of the Jyotlingas. The visit is quite special since the temple is located at the seaside. See the Light and Sound Show when it is on. Overnight in Somnath.

Day 10: Somnath Temple & Local Sightseeing.

Take the entire day to sight see in Somnath. Explore Triveni Sangam, Bhalka Tirth, Gita Mandir, Prabhas Patan Museum and Somnath Beach. Go along the beach and experience the peaceful sea air. Overnight in Somnath.

Day 11: Somnath to Ahmedabad Departure.

Go home to Ahmedabad. Buy Gujarati snacks, textiles or souvenirs before going. You have some permanent memories of Dwarka and Somnath which are made by your tour.
