Detailed Gujarat Offbeat Tour Itinerary Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad
Enter Ahmedabad and put up in your hotel. Begin your off-beat tour by walking through the old, not so popular, pols (neighbourhoods) of Ahmedabad, through small streets and old havelis, and uncovered Jain temples. Go to a local craft community to observe block-printing, metal work or handloom workshops most of the tourists do not notice. Either walk around the silent trail near Kankaria Lake in the evening or visit a local food shop. Overnight in Ahmedabad.
Day 2: Ahmedabad to Velavadar – Blackbuck National Park.
Breakfast, then go to Velavadar, a quiet place of wildlife with extensive grasslands. Check in to your lodge and prepare to have an afternoon safari at Blackbuck National Park whereby you will observe the blackbucks, wolves, floricans and several other rare birds.
