Day 2

Day 2: In Bharatpur

On the 2nd day, enjoy breakfast and get ready to proceed for a bird watching tour. At Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, you can witness some of the most beautiful and colorful species of birds. Spot 366 avifauna species including Common Parakeet, Great Egret, Painted Stork, and more. Enjoy your full day exploring the natural beauty of the city. Moreover, you can also see Bharatpur Palace & Museum, Ganga Mandir, Lohagarh Fort, and Deeg. Once the day comes to an end, head back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Keoladeo Ghana National Park is the home of thousands of migratory waterfowl birds such as green sandpiper and cranes visiting the park during the winter season. It was created in the mid 18th century as a small reservoir located 5 kilometers to the southeast of Bharatpur. The construction of the Ajan Bund and the subsequent flooding of this natural depression led to one of the world’s most fascinating and spectacular bird reserves.

Day 3: Delhi Departure
