Gir National Park Tour Package

Girnar, which is one of the most holy hills in Gujarat and a large pilgrimage destination of Hindus and Jains, is the next site after the breakfast. At the bottom you can pay a visit to the temples and on the hill you can walk any part according to your moods.

You then go on to Sasan Gir the main gate of Gir national park. You go into forest lodge or resort and spend time amongst the trees. You are free to listen to sounds of the forest and get ready to the safari in the evening. You spend the night close to the park.

You begin by an early morning guided jeep safari within Gir National Park. You are taken along on trails by trained forest guides in search of Asiatic lions, leopards, spotted deer, sambar, nilgai and numerous birds.

Your next stop is the safari followed by a breakfast and rest in your lodge. During the afternoon one will be able to walk in the resort area or watch video about the local wildlife and talk with naturalists. You stay overnight near Gir.

You can visit Devalia Safari Park which is also known as Gir Interpretation Zone after breakfast. This enclosed place allows tourists to view animals in a regulated environment and is worth exploring the ecosystem of Gir.

You will later visit the close by Maldhari tribal villages to know about the pastoral communities who co-exist with the wildlife at Gir. During the evenings you attend a cultural session or storytelling at your lodge. You spend the night close to Gir National Park.

Breakfast then and proceed to Somnath, one of the holiest temples in India. Your first stop will be to stay at a hotel and the Somnath Temple one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva situated along the Arabian Sea.

You pray and meditate, and then walk slowly up and down the shore. You also take an evening tour of the temple where a light and sound performance is performed to tell you about the spiritual and historic significance of the temple. You spend the night in Somnath.

Breakfast then drive to the coastal town of Diu. Diu Fort is one of the major attractions at your hotel, offering stunning sea vistas, and the other one is St. Pauls Church that boasts of an amazing structure.

And then you take a rest at Nagoa Beach or St. Marys Beach and spend time with the serene sea breeze. You can enjoy the sunset or take a stroll. You stay overnight in Diu.

In the morning you have breakfast and go back to the Gir country and stay in a nature resort or ecolodge. This is a leisurely day to allow you to combine wild life excitement with relaxation.

There are other optional activities such as birdwatching, guided nature walks or visiting crocodile breeding centers in the vicinity. You take a silent dinner under the stars in the forest in the evening. You stay overnight near Gir.

You drive back to Ahmedabad after a breakfast. Upon arriving, you enter a hotel and have a good time. Alternative tours are Sabarmati Riverfront or local shopping on souvenirs and handicrafts. You spend the night at Ahmedabad.

You complete the Gir National Park tour after having breakfast and leave Ahmedabad and carry with you the memories of wildlife, nature, and culture.
