Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Raipur to Delhi (Arrival)
Take off from Raipur to Delhi. On arrival, welcome and meet your representative and transfer to your hotel. Once checked in, have time to unwind or take an easy stroll in Connaught place or around local markets. It is a relief as the tropical climate of Raipur is replaced by a northern climate of Delhi. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi to Haridwar (230 km / 6 hours) โ Evening Aarti
You have to start your trip to Haridwar after having breakfast. Upon arrival, have a check in and relax. Towards the evening, go to Har Ki Pauri to see the religious Ganga Aarti. The diyas and hundreds of them which light the riverbank provide a peaceful and memorable religious experience. Take a walk around the vibrant ghats and come back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 3: Haridwar to Rishikesh to Devprayag to Rudraprayag (160 km / 6 hours)
After breakfast, move to Rishikesh and see Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Sivanada Ashram and the quaint Ganga river banks. Go on to Devprayag where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers combine to create the Ganga. Take pictures of the confluence and then continue driving towards Rudraprayag. These sceneries in the route consist of terraced hills, woods, and splendid streams of the rivers. One night stay in Rudraprayag.
Day 4: Rudraprayag to Guptkashi (45 km / 2 hours) โ Leisure & Acclimatization
The current short drive is to help you adapt to the rising altitude. On arrival at Guptkashi, check-in and sleep. Go to the nearby Ardhnareshwar Temple and have mountain views including the Chaukhamba range. The remaining evening is spent in rest and equipment for the trek of Kedarnath. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 5: Guptkashi to Sonprayag โ Trek to Kedarnath (17 km trek)
Get off early to Sonprayag then take a jeep ride to Gaurikund. Start walking to Kedarnath, by waterfalls, forests, tea-stalls, and delightful mountain precipices. The pilgrims in their chants, fresh air of the mountains and huge Himalayan sceneries give something divine to the journey. Arrive Kedarnath in the evening and take part in evening rituals in the temple. One night stay near Kedarnath Temple.
Day 6: Kedarnath Darshan โ Trek Down to Sonprayag โ Return to Guptkashi
Early wake up to Kedarnath Temple Darshan. The atmosphere in the morning with the mantras ringing is of an invaluable peacefulness and spiritual elevation. Then take your descent after darshan, and arrive at Gaurikund in the afternoon. Head back to Guptkashi and sleep in the end of a long day. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 7: Guptkashi to Triyuginarayan Temple to Chopta (80 km / 4 hours)
In the after breakfast, the individual must drive towards Triyuginarayan Temple, which is perceived as the holy wedding place of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The temple has an eternal flame which is assumed to have been lit since their divine marriage. Thence proceed to Chopta a green meadow with pine and deodar forests around the village. Relax in the peaceful weather and the beauty of the landscape. Overnight stay in Chopta.
Day 8: Chopta โ Optional Tungnath Trek โ Relax in Nature
Today you can decide to walk to Tungnath Temple which is the highest in the world Shiva temple (optional). The walk is reasonably hard but exceptionally beautiful with Himalayan birds and the panoramic view of snow covered mountains. In case you want to relax, you can just have a relaxing day in Chopta in the serenity of nature. Overnight stay in Chopta.
Day 9: Chopta to Rishikesh (170 km / 6 hours)
Breakfast and then drive back to Rishikesh. On arrival, check in and have the evening relaxing along the river. You can go to cafes, go to Ganga aarti, or relax in the yoga-town. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Day 10: Rishikesh to Delhi (230 km / 6 hours)
Break at daybreak, mission to Delhi. Arrive in the evening and get into your hotel. Spend your leisure time shopping or on going sightseeing in the area like India Gate or Lotus Temple. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 11: Delhi to Raipur โ Departure
Breakfast, then fly Raipur Delhi Airport. Go home with Godly blessings and memorable Himalayan experiences.
