Detailed Itinerary
Your Kedarnath Yatra starts by air on the flight that we have arranged between Indore and Dehraduna and our representative meets you there and takes you to Rishikesh. When you pass through the Rajaji National Park that is covered with forests you will realize that the air has become less humid and crisper.
On arriving at the Rishikesh city, stay in your hotel and rest. Later in the evening, go to the most renowned Parmarth Niketan or the Triveni Ghat and be enthralled by the Ganga Aarti in which priests recite mantras and pilgrims place glowing diyas to the holy river. Visit the local bazaars, eat in the cafes adjacent to the rivers, or just sit on the Ganges to experience its breeze.

Then after having breakfast, start your scenic trip to Srinagar Garhwal which is a peaceful hill town in the Garhwal Himalayas. On the way, visit Devprayag, the holy meeting place of river Bhagirathi and Alaknanda that create the holy Ganga. Its blue-eyed water and its tall cliffs make it ideal when doing meditation or photography.
Keep on driving through pine forests, small villages and terraced hills until you arrive at Srinagar. On arrival, check in hotel on the river. Experience the evening searching the local temples, strolling along the banks of river Alaknanda or just watching the Himalayan sunset.

Then, after the breakfast, we are going to drive to the town of Guptkashi, which is considered the land of the old Shiva temples and the beautiful mountainous landscape. On the way, stop at Rudraprayag, another holy confluence of Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers. You might visit the Rudranath Temple or you can have tea by the river.
On arrival at Guptkashi, have lunch and then enter your hotel. Then go to visit the Vishwanath and Ardhnarishwar Temples, praying in an aura of chants, bells, and incense smell. Spend the night by taking a leisurely walk around this scenic Himalayan village.

Start early and go to Sonprayag, where Kedarnath registration is done. Then go on to Gaurikund with its hot springs and mythical significance. Now start your 18 km walk to Kedarnath through pine forests, waterfalls, mountain precipices, and cliffs, which are covered with mist.
You can either use pony, palki or helicopter services, at your convenience. On arrival to Kedarnath, enter into your lodge and take rest. At night, go to the divine Aarti at the Kedarnath Temple, where the view of glowing lamps at the dramatic Himalayan backdrop is a very religious one.

Get up early in the morning to see the peaceful Himalayan sunrise and visit the Abhishek Puja within the temple which is a heartening ceremony. Then take off later towards Gaurikund and retreat towards Guptkashi.
