One of the most historic cities of India, Guptkashi presents the epic Mahabharata and its significance is almost similar to that of the sacred Kashi (Varanasi). Arrive and check in to the lodge for resting sometime. The remaining day is free for you. Stay overnight in the hotel room.

Enjoy breakfast and then check out from the hotel to drive straight to Sonprayag. This is the place from where you will proceed for a trek of 20 kilometers to reach the Kedarnath Yatra Package. The trek can be done either by a doli or on a horseback. The place is significant in religious terms in the sense of folk that from here River Mandakini flows toward Gaurikund. River Mandakini is one of the main tributaries of the Ganges.

While moving along to the trek, you would experience the divine power of chanting ” Jai Bholenath”. The mist sometime envelops the mountain and reveals breathtaking views of the mountains that look enchanting. On reaching there, check in to the Government lodge for a relaxing and overnight stay.

The 5th day will begin before dawn. Awake early and take bath to head straight to the temple before 4:42 am. At the temple, you can attend the sacred “Abhishek” ceremony of the Kedarnath Shiva and seek the blessings of the lord. Get access to Garbha Griha and touch the idol for darshan.

Post darshan, return to the lodge and take a rest. Later start your return trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. On reaching there, your vehicle and driver would be waiting for you to drive you back to the hotel in Guptkashi. Stay overnight at the hotel.

On the 6th day, check out from the hotel early after breakfast and proceed for Badrinath Yatra Package by road via Joshimath. While on the way to Badrinath, relish the mesmerizing views of the Ghat road. As you reach Badrinath, check in to the hotel and take a rest and refreshments.

Afterward, get ready to move towards Badrinath Temple for darshan in the evening. Before darshan, take a bath in the Tapt Kund (hot spring). The Badrinath Temple is beautifully designed in an amazing style. After darshan, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Badrinath.

The fresh morning of the 7th day, start with a visit to Badrinath Temple for darshan. Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast and check out.
