Char Dham Yatra by Bus

Char Dham Yatra by Bus starts with the arrival in the city of Haridwar, one of the sacred sites in India and the entrance of the pilgrimages paths in the Himalayas. Pilgrims arrive and book in the hotel and rest after the period of their travel. Go to Har Ki Pauri in the evening and observe the famous Ganga Aarti ceremony. As soon as priests are carrying out rituals and devotees pray to the Ganga River, which can be considered sacred, the atmosphere turns really spiritual. The trip goes by bus after having breakfast to Barkot, a beautiful town situated in the Uttarkashi district. It passes through Rishikesh and slowly enters into the Himalayan land with breathtaking sceneries of mountains, forests, and river gorges. The passengers are able to experience the spectacular landscape as they journey. On reaching Barkot, have a rest at the hotel. Here dinner and overnight will be made.

In the early morning, drive up to Barkot to Janki Chatti, the point of starting the trek to Yamunotri. Here pilgrims take a walk to the Yamunotri Temple, which is a temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. The temple is enclosed with splendid mountains and natural beauty. Another place that pilgrims visit is the Surya Kund, a hot water spring where people cook rice in the form of a religious sacrifice. Darshan and prayers complete and back to Barkot to have dinner and stay.

Breakfast and then left Barkot, and proceeded to Uttarkashi, a great religious center, on the banks of the Bhagirathi. View scenic drive is a scenic drive that showcases stunning scenes of Himalayan view and serene valleys. On reaching Uttarkashi, settle in the hotel and take a rest. The well-known Kashi Vishwanath Temple is available in the evening to the pilgrims. Dinner and night will be spent in Uttarkashi.

Breakfast and drive to Gangotri, the holy temple of deity Ganga. The path is along the Bhagirathi River, and crosses beautiful mountain scenery and pine forests. On their arrival, pilgrims bathe in the river and go to visit the Gangotri Temple to pray. This is due to the spiritual ambience of the temple and the mountains surrounding it. Darshan, and back to Uttarkashi to have dinner and stay over.

The long scenic drive which lies between Uttarkashi and Guptkashi follows after breakfast. The road cuts across beautiful valleys, rivers, and Himalayan towns. There is also a spectacular view of the mountains along the way that an individual can enjoy as a traveler. Right after you enter Guptkashi, be in the hotel and relax. This is a major pilgrimage destination of Kedarnath. Dinner and night will be provided in Guptkashi.

Post breakfast- drive to Gaurikund, which is the base of the trek to Kedarnath Temple. Here, devotees start the journey to the holy Kedarnath temple which is devoted to Shiva and one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. The temple is in a high altitude with huge Himalayan peaks. Once at Kedarnath, the pilgrims pay their darshan at the temple and get the divine spiritual environment. Accommodation will be organized overnight all around the temple.

The darshan in Kedarnath Temple in the early morning is a calm spiritual experience. Once the prayers are done, start the walk back to Gaurikund and get back to Guptkashi by car. On arrival, marry in the hotel and rest after the tiring long trip. Guptkashi will be used to organize dinner and overnight stay.

Have breakfast and leave Guptkarsi and head towards Joshimath. The route goes through picturesque towns and confluence of rivers like Karnaprayag and Nandprayag. The tourists are able to appreciate the landscape of the Alaknanda River and the local mountains. On arriving at Joshimath, get into the hotel and rest. Here will be arranged dinner and night stay.

The last place of the Char Dham Yatra is Badrinath, which is reached after breakfast. The motivation provides beautiful scenery of the Himalayan mountains and valleys. Arrive and check into the hotel and go to the Badrinath Temple to receive darshan. Pilgrims can also pay a visit to some of the sacred places in the area like Tapt Kund, Mana Village and Vyas Gufa. A stay will be held at Badrinath.

On returning to Badrinath, one needs to start his journey after breakfast and morning darshan towards Rudraprayag. The road cuts across picturesque valleys and religious towns in the Alaknanda River. On reaching Rudraprayag, check in the hotel and relax. Here dinner and overnight will be arranged.

Breakfast and leave Rudraprayag and go back to Haridwar. The dependency slowly moves down the Himalayan mountains to the plains. The Char Dham Yatra ends with gorgeous memories and spiritual blessings on the four sacred shrines on arrival in Haridwar.
