Day 1: Jaisalmer to Chandigarh (Arrival by Train or Flight).

Begin your trip at Jaisalmer by train or air to Chandigarh, the entrance to the hills. On arrival, have a check-in at your hotel and relax after the trip. Go and see Sukhna Lake and Rock Garden and have a quiet evening at Sector 17 Market. One night stay at Chandigarh.

 

Day 2: Chandigarh to Shimla (115 km)

In the morning have breakfast and then drive to Shimla, which is one of the most popular hill stations in Himachal. The pass traverses beautiful valleys and pine-covered hills. On arrival at Shimla, get into a hotel and spend the evening in Mall Road, Ridge and the old Christ Church. Overnight stay in Shimla.

 

Day 3: Shimla and Kufri Excursion.

Today, visit Kufri, a hill station that is approximately 20 km away in Shimla, which boasts of apple orchards and Himalayan views. You may have short rises, rides on the ponies or visit the Himalayan Nature Park. Have lunch at Shimla and go to Jakhoo Temple or the Indian Institute of Advanced Study. Overnight stay in Shimla.

 

Day 4: Shimla to Manali (250 km)

Breakfast, then drive to Manali via the Kullu Valley, which is very beautiful, as well as Dam Pandoh. Pay a visit to Kullu and visit the famous Shawl Factory and see the Beas River. Day 8: Dalhousie to Khajjiar Excursion (20 km)

Today go on a trip to Khajjiar, commonly referred to as the Indian mini Switzerland. The hilly plains, the thick pine trees, and the still lake form a marvellous view. You can have short walks or horse riding. Go to Dalhousie and spend the night.

 

Day 9: Dalhousie to Amritsar (200 km) – Departure

Breakfast and then visit Amritsar. Pay a visit to the Golden Temple and observe the Wagah Border ceremony and then go back to Jaisalmer. Love of snow peaks and mountain calm end the picturesque Himachal holiday.
