Day 1: Arrival in Chandigarh β†’ Drive to Shimla (Approx. 115 km).

Your trip to Himachal begins when you reach Chandigarh, after which you proceed to the hill capital of Shimla by car. Once in the hotel, visit Mall Road, The Ridge, the area around the Town Hall, and Lakkar Bazaar. Spend some time in the hill station enjoying an evening and then settle down.

 

Day 2: Shimla Local Sightseeing.

Begin your day at Jakhu Temple, which is surrounded by forested lanes and the statue of Lord Hanuman, which is very high. Tour the Vice Regal Lodge, Christ Church, Scandal Point and other surrounding points of view. The tour is informal and honeymooner and family friendly.

 

Day 3: Shimla β†’ Kufri β†’ Narkanda (Approx. 70 km total)

Kufri is the home of horse-riding tracks, valleys and views of the Himalayas, so drive to Kufri. Then, go to Narkanda, which is associated with apple gardens, a peaceful environment, and the Hatu Peak sightseeing. Have a day of leisure in the country.

 

Day 4: Narkanda β†’ Manali (Approx. 200 km)

The road from Manali to Narkanda is scenic with mountain roads and river valleys. When you arrive, relax and explore Mall Road, Tibetan stores, local cafes, and riversides to spend a relaxing evening.

 

Day 5: Manali Local Sightseeing.

Excursion to Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, the Club House and the streets of Old Manali. You can also go on a light hike or relax at Vashisht Hot Springs. Provided that there is time, visit the Himalayan Nyingmapa Monastery.

 

Day 6: Manali β†’ Kullu β†’ Kasol (Approx. 80km)

Excursion along Kullu Valley, visiting Kullu Shawl Factory and a river viewpoint. Go on to Kasol, an attractive area with woodland trails and the Parvati River. Spend the night playing along the riverside atmosphere.

 

Day 7: Kasol β†’ Dharamshala (Approx. 200 km)

Take a trip to Dharamshala, a serene city that has been recognised as a Tibetan-friendly place. Go to the Dalai Lama Temple and St John in the Wilderness Church and walk around the cafes and handicraft shops of McLeod Ganj. Relax in the cool climate.

 

Day 8: Dharamshala β†’ Dalhousie (About 120 km)

Go to Dalhousie, a quiet colonial hill station. Visit Gandhi Chowk, Subhash Baoli, Satdhara Falls and picturesque walk paths established amid cedar forests. It is a day to take leisurely sightseeing.

Day 9: Dalhousie β†’ Khajjiar β†’ Pathankot (Approx. 200 km)

See the mini Switzerland of India, Khajjiar, with its vast meadows, a lake, adventure sports, and a forest. Thenith leaves for Pathankot to depart the next day.

Day 10: Departure from Pathankot.

After breakfast, check out of either the Pathankot railway station or airport and continue your journey back to Munnar.
