You start with Jaisalmer where either you can travel by flight or train to Delhi. You should visit Hauz Khas Village with large ancient monuments and contemporary cafés, art galleries, and shops. Here you will have the history, art and the modern life at the same place before you proceed back to your hotel.  Once you have checked out, you can spend the rest of the day at the National Museum in which you get to see things which depict the rich history of India. Dilli Haat is a good place to purchase handmade crafts, fabrics, and souvenirs, but the most well-known markets in the city are Janpath and Sarojini Nagar, where one can find fashionable products at reasonable prices. 

Visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a lovely Sikh temple and a golden dome with a community kitchen before you go and Agrasen ki Baoli, which is a historic stepwell located in the centre of Delhi. Still time, walk calmly in Lodhi Garden, that is enclosed with tombs and trees.
