Your trip starts by flying a short distance between Aurangabad and Delhi. As soon as you arrive you will be met by the dynamic spirit of the capital of India. Once you have checked in to your hotel, go out in the centuries-old streets of Old Delhi. Start your sightseeing with visiting the grand Red Fort UNESCO World Heritage Site reflecting the Mughal magnificence. Then take a walk or ride in a rickshaw to Chandni Chowk, which is a centuries-old neighbourhood of spice markets, silver stores and street food. You can not afford to skip a meal at Karim which specializes in kebabs and biryanis. In the evening, go to the peaceful Jama Masjid and then have a relaxing drive through the lit India Gate and back to your hotel where you can have a peaceful night.

Day 2: New Delhi Heritage Tour

Have breakfast and then immerse yourself in the architectural marvel of New Delhi. Begin your day at the Tomb of Humayun, which inspired the Taj Mahal, and proceed to the majestic Qutub Minar, the perfect masterpiece of the Indo-Islamic architecture. After lunch, visit the colonial majesty of the Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House, along Rajpath and consider visiting Lotus Temple, a grand architectural structure that employs the concept of peace. Close the day with Connaught Place, the shopping and eating centre of Delhi, where you can enjoy the local handicraft, cafe hopping, and delicious dinner.

Day 3: Spiritual, Cultural Exploration

Start your day by paying a visit to the spiritual masterpiece of Akshardham Temple, whereby the cultural exhibition as well as complex carvings tells about the spiritual heritage of India. Then walk through Lodhi Garden, a serene green oasis scattered with historic tombs, which is ideal to capture photos and to relax. After lunch, explore the National Museum or Gandhi Smriti to learn about the Indian struggle to independence. When the evening comes, explore the cultural aspect of Delhi with a sound and light show at Red Fort or cultural performance at India Habitat Centre. Conclude your day with an Indian thali dinner at Pandara Road which is a delightful meal.

Day 4: Shopping and Departure

You have one last day left in Delhi, where you can engage in a little bit of shopping. Go to Dilli Haat which is a colorful crafts bazaar where regional handicrafts, textiles and flavors of the whole of India are available. You might also visit Sarojini Nagar or Janpath to visit the trendy street fashion.
