Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Delhi
You arrive at the Indira Gandhi International Airport where you will be met and taken to the Hotel by our executives. Check into your accommodation and have some snacks and take some rest. Once rested, start your trip to Delhi with a relaxing walk at Lodhi Garden where old tombs are located in the midst of greenery and a beautiful backdrop . Just before sunset, pay a visit to India gate, a beautiful sight under the glow of night sky and take a ride around Rashtrapati Bhavan and parliament house to get a glimpse of the grandeur of the British era. End your evenings at Connaught Place, its cafes and marketplace. Return back to your hotel and then sleep while you prepare for next day adventure.
Day 2: Visit Old Delhi
After having breakfast, enter the greatness of Old Delhi, where the Mughal heritage remains. Start your day at the legendary Red Fort which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the monument of Indian independence. Next go to Jama Masjid, one of the most enormous mosques in India and then the crowded lanes of Chandni Chowk with the spice markets, silver jewellery and the vintage vibe of its lanes. Visit Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, after lunch and conclude the day with a relaxing sunset at Purana Qila one of the oldest forts of Delhi. Return back to hotel and have your dinner and take rest.
Day 3: Explore temples of Delhi
Start by the marvelous Akshardham Temple, where art and devotion and culture intersect. Next, go to Lotus Temple, which also has a lotus shape and peaceful atmosphere regardless of religion. In the afternoon you can visit the magnificent Tomb of Humayun, the progenitor of the Taj Mahal, the Charbagh gardens. In the evening, relax at Dilli Haat where the folk art, handicrafts and the local cuisines are available and provide a vibrant cultural experience.
Day 4: Departure to Kerala
Begin your day at the National Handicrafts and handlooms museum, which exhibits the rich craft tradition of India.Then visit Qutub Minar, the tallest minaret in Delhi with a complex of ruins around it. After lunch, go visit Garden of Five Senses which is an art and nature bliss and a good place to relax. Spend your evening at Hauz Khas Village, a place of a mix of old monuments, high-end boutiques and cafes with picturesque lake views.
