Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Agra
Start by taking a morning flight away to Kerala to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your driver and together, you will drive to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway, take a comfortable ride with a glimpse of the rural North India en route. Arrive in Agra by afternoon and enter into your hotel. Have a little rest, then visit the Agra Fort which is a UNESCO world heritage which reveals the history of the mughal era. Visit its large courtyards, Diwan -i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas, the Palace of Jahangir, and the Sheesh Mahal. Cross Yamuna River in the evening and visit Mehtab Bagh. It will be a beautiful view of the Taj Mahal during the sunset there, the best place to take a photo and have a relaxing first day of your tour. Take off back to the city and have a dinner that is Mughlai style and then retire to sleep.
Day 2: Agra Sightseeing
Rise early to see the Taj Mahal during the sunrise when the marble monument is shining with golden coloring. Take time to discover its complex architecture, gardens and history and absorb the peace of the early morning. Go back to hotel, eat breakfast and have rest . You may see the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, also known as the Baby Taj, later which has excellent marble lattice work and a serene environment. In the afternoon, go to the local markets like Sadar Bazaar to purchase souvenirs, marble and the local sweets of Agra. Dine out at a rooftop restaurant where you have a night view of the Taj and then come back to your hotel where you are going to spend the night.
Day 3: Visit Mathura & Vrindavan
Check out and drive to the birthplace of Lord Krishna, Mathura after breakfast. Go to the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi complex and Dwarkadhish Temple and indulge in the spiritual ambience. Before going to Vrindavan, a town of Devotion and allure, enjoy some traditional meals. See the Bihari Temple, the ISKCON Temple, and Prem Mandir, a beautiful marble temple illuminated in the night. Take a walk in the streets of Vrindavan and feel the colorful culture, bhajans, sweets and handicraft shops. At the end of the evening, travel to Agra and get admitted to your hotel where you will have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 4 :Explore Fatehpur Sikri and departure
Breakfast and a departure from the hotel. Start Your tour to Fatehpur Sikri, the once great Mughal capital constructed by the Emperor Akbar. Visit the Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Jama Masjid and the Tomb of Salim Chishti then proceed with your drive to Delhi. On the way, you can visit the Tomb of Akbar at Sikandra which is a beautiful mix of both Mughal and Hindu temples with the restful gardens. Arrive in Delhi in the evening and take your flight back to Kerala and end your four-day Agra-Mathura-Vrindavan journey in an unforgettable way.
