Day 1: Arrive in Agra from Jamnagar

Take a flight from Jamnagar and then arrive in Delhi. Arrive there and meet your driver and travel to Agra along the Yamuna Expressway, watching the beautiful view of plains of North India. Reach Agra in the afternoon and take a room in a hotel. Spent the night after a brief rest in Agra Fort, the red sandstone fort, which was the chief habitation of the Mughal emperors. Tour its majestic halls, palaces and gardens like Diwan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas and the legendary Musamman Burj that gives a view of the Taj in the distance. Then go later to Mehtab Bagh, which is on the other side of the Yamuna River, to have a lovely sunset of the Taj Mahal as the white marble of its walls transforms with the early sunset. Take a walk in the gardens and then get back to the Agra city to visit Sadar Bazaar to purchase marble souvenirs and leather items and pastry such as petha. End the day with a mouth watering Mughlai dinner and then head back to your hotel in the night.

 

Day 2: Arrive in Bharatpur

In the morning drive to Bharatpur to visit Keoladeo National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage and one of the most successful bird sanctuaries in India. Have a rickshaw tour of a park where one can see migratory birds, painted storks, sarus cranes, kingfishers, and ducks as well as deer and other wild animals. Go on by the nature experience to Mathura, the birth place of Lord Krishna. Tour Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple complex and the Dwarkadhish Temple and then take a typical lunch. Next visit Vrindavan to see Banke Bihari Temple, ISKCON Temple and the marvelous site Prem Mandir that looks amazing in the evening after it is lit up. Walk around the busy streets of Vrindavan with bhajans and piety. Go back to Agra in the evening, eat dinner and get a room in the hotel.

 

Day 3: Agra local Sightseeing & Departure

Get up early to see the spectacular sunrise at the Taj Mahal, during which the monument is incredibly beautiful and luminous in the gentle golden sunlight. Stroll in its gardens, observe its marble inlay, and enjoy the peaceful environment and get back to the hotel and have breakfast. After breakfast, go and see the beautiful tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah also known as the Baby Taj as it is a great tomb with its elaborate lattice work and serene setting near the river. In the future, you can spend time in Kinari bazaar or go to the local marble inlay workshops where you can see talented craftsmen at work. You can also visit the Mohabbat-e-Taj cultural show in the evening at the Kalakriti Auditorium which is a great way of showing the love story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz. Dine breakfast at a rooftop restaurant with a night view of Taj and get then take a flight back to Jamnagar
