Day 1

Day 1: Aurangabad to Delhi – Arrival & Transfer to Agra

You begin by boarding a plane or a train in Aurangabad to Delhi. In Delhi airport or train station, a tour guide will welcome you and assist in driving you safely to Agra through Yamuna expressway. The road is pleasant and there are free open fields, small towns and villages on the road. Upon reaching Agra, go to the hotel and sleep. At night, go to the local markets Agra to observe the marble inlay work, handcrafts, leather work and have a taste of the popular sweet, Agra Petha. Then go back to your hotel and take dinner and spend the night.

Day 2

Day 2: Tour the Taj Mahal and other Mughal buildings.

You start the day as you do a sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal, which is the most famous monument of love in the world. The white marble is sparkling in the daytime and is going to remain with you forever. Then take time to visit the monument then on to breakfast. Then go to the great Agra Fort which is a UNESCO world heritage site illustrating the power and creativity of the Mughal through its halls, palaces and courtyards. Carry on the sightseeing to the tomb of itimad-ud-daulah or the baby taj which is recognized by its excellent crafts of marble and architecture. During the evening one can see the Taj Mahal setting sun at Mehtab Bagh, which is on the other side of the Yamuna River. Go back to your hotel and have a night.

Day 3

Day 3: Visit to Fatehpur Sikri and Sikandra.

Begin the day, driving a few miles to Fatehpur Sikri, the former capital of Akbar, the Emperor. The town is a UNESCO world heritage site that demonstrates the splendour of the Mughal days. See Buland Darwaza one of the highest gateways in the world, Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal and the gorgeous palaces narrating the story of Akbar. Upon taking the journey back to Agra, visit Sikandra and tomb of Akbar the Great. The hybrid styles of Sikandra are Hindu, Christian, Islamic, Buddhist, Jain, demonstrating the desire of Akbar to unite. After a historical day in Agra, have dinner and stay in Agra.

Day 4

Day 4: Leave Agra -Go Back to Aurangabad.

Breakfast and have a drive back to Delhi after leaving your hotel. It will be the last time you will see the countryside of the state of Uttar Pradesh, its farms, small towns, and roadside stalls that demonstrate the beauty of the Indian countryside. You arms reach Delhi, you must get your flight or train to Aurangabad, go to the air-port or train-station.
