Agra Tour Packages from Gujarat

Start by a morning flight or train trip between Gujarat and Delhi. Once you are in Delhi, meet your driver and drive to Agra through the easy Yamuna Expressway, and have an eye-catching experience of the countryside. Reach Agra in the afternoon and see into your hotel. Have a brief recharge and then sightsee the mighty Agra Fort where the Mughal emperors enjoyed their reign. Visit beautiful parts of the fort such as Diwan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas, Khas Mahal and the Palace of Jahangir. Then go on to Mehtab Bagh, which is on the other side of Yamuna River to watch the spectacular sunset view of the Taj Mahal bathed in golden light. Go back to the city, visit Sadar Bazaar, the center of the handicrafts, marble souvenirs and leather items and finally, have a Mughlai dinner at a reputable restaurant and head back to your hotel.

Following breakfast, take an all day trip to Mathra and Vrindavan, which are approximately 55km and 55km away respectively. Visit Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, the birthplace of Lord Krishna and Dwarkadhish Temple which is one of the best-known temples in Mathra. Lunch, then drive to Vrindavan and visit Banke Bihari Temple, ISKCON Temple and the beautifully lit Prem Mandir which is particularly beautiful at sunset. Explore the small streets of Vrindavan, experience the insular spirit of devotion with bhajans and chants, and buy sweets and local handicrafts in the small shops. In the evening go back to Agra and dine and stay over in the hotel.

Wake up early in the morning to go to the Taj Mahal at the sunrise. The building is made of white marble that is very beautiful in the morning light. Take time to appreciate its flawless symmetry, the elaborate inlay and the reflecting pools. Still remember Shah Jahan and Mumtaz, the love story which is timeless.

Then at about 11:00, have breakfast at the hotel, visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, popularly known as the Baby Taj. Take pleasure in the fine river and the fine lattice.

After lunch take some rest and then you can go shopping at the Kinari Bazaar or you can visit the local marble workshops and watch the craftsmen at work.dinner view of the Taj and then go back to the hotel and have an overnight stay.

Get up early in the morning. Have your breakfast and leave the hotel, drive to Fatehpur Sikri the red sandstone city construction of Akbar. Tour Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Jama Masjid, and the Tomb of Salim Chishti to find out why this formerly great capital was later deserted. On returning, visit Sikandra to see the Tomb of Akbar that is surrounded by gardens. And keep on with the drive to Delhi and arrive in the evening to take a flight or a train back to Gujarat.
