Day 1: Ghaziabad to Delhi β City Tour
The starting point of your trip is Ghaziabad to Delhi, and this takes about 1 to 1.5 hours with or without the traffic. Begin your Delhi tour with India gate, the popular war memorial with beautiful gardens. Then move on to Rashtrapati Bhavan (President House) and Parliament House which are two landmarks of the Indian capital.Then visit Humayun tomb, a world heritage site and a good example of Mughal architecture. Day 2: Delhi to Agra β The City of the Taj
In the morning, have breakfast and leave your hotel in Delhi and then begin your road trip to Agra and the distance between two places is approximately 3-4 hours. As soon as you arrive, go to your hotel, prepare to go sightseeing. The first place to start is the Taj Mahal which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World as well as the most popular structure in India. Using clean white marble, the Taj Mahal was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in her memory, her wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is particularly beautiful during a sunny day and there is also the option of boating in Yamuna River. Explore the gardens, appreciate the marble work and get some memorable photographs.
The second place to visit is the Agra Fort which is also a UNESCO world heritage site. It was a huge red sand-stone fort which was the primary dwelling of the Mughal emperors.
