Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Jaisalmer

Start your Rajasthan tour with the Golden city that is Jaisalmer. Visit the great Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Quila), a living fort, with busy streets and houses within it. Explore the complex Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli and Gadisar Lake. Take a walk in the local market in the evening where you can find handicrafts, fabrics and souvenirs. Conclude the day with a classic Rajasthani dinner in one of the rooftop restaurants with a view of the fort.

Day 2

Day 2: Jaisalmer Desert Safari

In the morning, have breakfast and go on an exciting camel safari at Sam Sand Dunes and see the spectacular desert sunset. Enjoy the Rajasthani folk music and dance against the starlight sky at a desert camp. This day will give you a chance to immerse yourself in the nature of the specific desert culture and adventure of Rajasthan.

Day 3

Day 3: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur (285km | 5 hrs)

Breakfast and then drive to Jodhpur, the Blue City. Go to the Mehrangarh Fort that is imposing and has panoramas of the blue-painted houses below. Venture Jaswant Thada, a cenotaph made of marble, and the beautiful Umaid Bhawan Palace. During the evening, visit the colorful Clock Tower Market that sells spices, fabrics, and other forms of traditional handicraft.

Day 4

Day 4: Bikaner to Jaisalmer (270 km | 5 hrs)

Breakfast and then drive to Jaisalmer, known as the Golden City, situated in the Thar Desert. Arrive at your heritage hotel or desert camp. During the evening, explore Sam Sand Dunes, where you can experience a camel safari, a fascinating desert sunset and Rajasthani folk dance in the skyline.

Day 5

Day 5: Jaisalmer Local Sightseeing.

Visit the great Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Quila), a modern fort where people live with a large street and houses. See Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli and Gadisar Lake, ideal for photography as well as taking a rest. Marathon Spend the afternoon shopping in the local markets for embroidered goods, handicrafts, and souvenirs, and become absorbed in the atmosphere of a desert city.

Day 6

Day 6: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur (285 km | 5 hours)

Then drive to the Blue City, Jodhpur, after breakfast. Start sightseeing with the Mehrangarh Fort, which is the imposing fort and has a panoramic view of the city. See a white marble cenotaph of a monarch, Jaswant Thada, and a gracious amalgamation of palace and museum, Umaid Bhawan Palace. During the evening, visit Clock Tower Market, which is also home to spices, textiles, and handicrafts.

Day 7

Day 7: Jodhpur to Kumbhalgarh (250 km | 5 hrs)

Breakfast and then drive to Kumbhalgarh, which houses the largest fort in India. Tour the gigantic Kumbhalgarh Fort and the 36 km-long wall, as well as Badal Mahal within the fort. Providing enough time, go on a safari excursion in the Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary, home to the leopard, deer, and exotic birds, in the quiet atmosphere of this historic town.

Day 8

Day 8: Kumbhalgarh to Udaipur (85 km | 2 hrs)

Following a breakfast, drive to Udaipur, the romantic City of Lakes. See the grand City Palace, walk Saheliyon Ki Bari and have a scenic ride on Lake Pichola in a boat passing by the famous Lake Palace and Jag Mandir. In the evening, you can have fun along the lakeside or visit local markets and indulge yourself in the beauty of this beautiful city. Post breakfast, you can travel to Udaipur Airport to board a flight back to Pune, ending a wonderful experience of your royal forts, desert, serene lakes, and hill station retreats in Rajasthan.
