Detailed Itinerary
Your new guide will pick you up in Jaipur and take you to Samode, the peaceful village of historic havelis and country lanes. Visit Samode Palace outside, pass through small streets, meet local artisans, and take a relaxing walk in the village. In the evening you can spend time in an aged home.
Excursion to Kuchaman, which has a fort and a salt lake. In or around the fort, stay in a heritage hotel. See ancient frescoes, gaze down the walls and walk the small village streets. Visit local potters and little markets. You can decide to go on a camel on the dunes which are near the hotel in the evening.
Drive to Khimsar, a pleasant village of the desert. Khimsar Fort and Khimsar Sand Dunes Village. Have a jeep tour to see the blackbucks in the wildlife park. Sightseeing in and around the desert oasis and listening to folk music under the stars.
Visit Osian, which is the Khajuraho of the Rajasthan with its elaborate temples. Pay a visit to the Sachiya Mata Temple and Jain temples. Next spend the night in a desert camp dune bashing, riding a camel, watching the sunset, and taking evening cultural performances around a bonfire.
