Day 1: Arrival at Jaipur, the pink city (Kolhapur-Jaipur)

Enjoy a comfortable ride by road, by flight or by train between Kolhapur and Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Once you are there, book into your hotel and rest. During the afternoon, go to the Birla Mandir and Albert Hall Museum or walk around the colorful stalls at the Bapu Bazaar. Day 2: Jaipur Sightseeing—Royal Heritage and Culture.

Begin the day by having breakfast and then going out to visit the famous places of Jaipur. The size of Amber Fort, up on a hill to start with, is something to take in. Then the next stop is Jal Mahal with beautiful views of the lake. Proceed to the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and the grandiose Hawa Mahal with its pink exterior. Day 3: Jaipur to Bikaner (approx. 330 km/6 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Bikaner, a desert town famous for its camel safaris and royal forts. When you get there, visit the magnificent Junagarh Fort that is filled with majestic courtyards and a long history. Then go to the Karni Mata Temple, the Temple of Rats, something really unusual. Day 4: Bikaner to Jaisalmer (approx. 330 km/6 hours)

Following the breakfast, proceed to the captivating Jaisalmer or the so-called Golden City. Along the route, there are views of the gold dunes and the desert villages. On arrival at Jaisalmer, stay at a hotel and in the evening visit Patwon Ki Haveli and Gadisar Lake. The city is bathed in golden color by the sunset. Spend the night in Jaisalmer.

Day 5

Day 5: Jaisalmer Desert Experience.

The morning will be spent at the grand Jaisalmer Fort, among the few forts in India that have been transformed into residential places with people still living in the fort. Pay a visit to Salim Singh Ki Haveli and Nathmal Ki Haveli, and see the detailed construction. During the afternoon, visit the Sam Sand Dunes, where you can go on an exciting camel safari, see a desert sunset and spend the evening enjoying cultural shows under the stars.
