Kashmir Tour Packages from Meerut

Take an early morning train or connecting flight from Meerut to Delhi to start your trip to Jammu. Once you get there, check into your accommodation and spend the day seeing important sights in Jammu, such the Amar Mahal Palace, Raghunath Temple, and BagheBahu. The nice weather and busy marketplaces make for a terrific first day of getting used to things before going into the Kashmir Valley.

After breakfast, travel through the beautiful Chenab Valley from Jammu to Srinagar. The route remains within a reasonable 250 km range and offers stunning views of the mountains. When you get to Srinagar, settle into your hotel or houseboat and have a tranquil shikara ride on Dal Lake in the evening. See floating gardens, the way people live in the area, and the lake's peaceful beauty at sunset.

Spend the whole day seeing Srinagar's historic and cultural sites. Check out the Mughal Gardens, which include Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. Go on to Shankaracharya Temple for views of the city, and then walk through the small streets of Old Srinagar to see traditional crafts. Evening is free for shopping and trying local delicacies around Lal Chowk.

Take a short, beautiful journey to Sonmarg, which is known as the "Meadow of Gold," to start your day. The distance is still well inside the kilometer limit, and the views of the river are stunning. When you get there, you may explore the snow-covered valley, go on a pony ride to the Thajiwas Glacier, or just enjoy the wide-open green spaces. Come back to Srinagar by night and rest at the hotel.

Go to Gulmarg, which is the adventure capital of Kashmir. The drive is short and quite beautiful, with rolling meadows and pine trees. When you get to Gulmarg, take the famed Gondola ride to Phase 1 or Phase 2 to see the snow and the mountains from all sides. You can do things like skiing in the winter, riding ATVs, and going on nature hikes. Stay at Gulmarg overnight.

Go from Gulmarg to Pahalgam after breakfast. This drive goes through fields, apple orchards, and rivers. When you get to Pahalgam, take in the nice ambiance and visit areas like Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, or Baisaran (you'll need to take a bus). You have the evening free to go along the river and relax.

In the morning, drive back to Srinagar. Stop by Pampore's saffron fields and the old Awantipora Ruins on the way. You may go to Srinagar by the afternoon and then have some free time to shop. The most popular things to buy are Kashmiri handicrafts, pashmina shawls, and dried fruits. Stay in Srinagar overnight.

Start early for Jammu and take in the mountain scenery and river valleys one final time. The 250-kilometer round trip is still pleasant and has several nice places to halt along the way. When you get to Jammu, check into your hotel and rest. You might visit the local market or temples in the evening.
