Detailed Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Jaipur – Srinagar Arrival
The trip starts at Jaipur where you take a flight to Srinagar through Delhi. Our representative will receive you at Srinagar Airport after which you will be transported to your hotel or traditional houseboat close to Dal Lake. Check-in and then have a wonderful time admiring the scenic beauty of the Kashmir Valley. During evening you can enjoy a romantic Shikara ride on Dal Lake where an observer can see floating gardens, houseboats, and the picturesque view of the adjacent mountains. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 2: Srinagar Local Sightseeing
Breakfast, and then start a sightseeing tour of Srinagar. See the popular Mughal gardens such as Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh which are characterized by terraced gardens, fountains, and beautiful Dal Lake scenery. Visit the historical Shankaracharya Temple that has the panoramic view of the city of Srinagar and the valley in general. During the evenings visit the local markets that are popular with the Kashmiri handicrafts, carpets, dry fruits and Pashmina shawls. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 3: Srinagar – Gulmarg Excursion
Breakfast and drive to Gulmarg, which is one of the most popular hill resorts in Kashmir that boast of green meadows and snowy landscapes. Tourists can also have access to the famous Gulmarg Gondola that is among the highest cable car rides in the world and have an awesome view of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. During winter seasons, tourists are also able to engage in snow sports including skiing and snow boarding. Then visit Srinagar to stay overnight at Srinagar.
Day 4: Srinagar – Pahalgam
Breakfast and then move to Pahalgam which is a picturesque valley bordering the Lidder River. Pahalgam is reached via saffron, pine and lovely Kashmiri villages. Once at Pahalgam check in at the hotel and see the local places of interest like Betaab Valley and Aru Valley that are known to have magnificent natural beauty. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 5: Pahalgam – Sonmarg – Srinagar
Following breakfast is a day trip to Sonmarg which is the meadow of gold. Tourists are offered the opportunity to make pony rides to the well-known Thajiwas Glacier or have a chance to enjoy the breathtaking sights of the surrounding Himalayan mountains and glaciers. Later in the evening back to Srinagar and spent the night there.
Day 6: Srinagar – Jaipur Departure
Breakfast in the hotel and check out, and board a flight to Srinagar Airport, from which you take a flight to Jaipur via Delhi. It is a memorable end of your tour when the scenic valleys and lakes in Kashmir, as well as the grandeur of the Himalayan landscape, are remembered.
