Day 1: Chandigarh – Srinagar Arrival

You are starting at Chandigarh and you would be flying to Srinagar or you could be going by road to Jammu. On reaching Srinagar, you will be taken to your hotel or classical houseboat. Once you have checked in, you should take time off to have a rest and take in the beautiful environment. During the evening, you can take a serene ride in a Shikara in Dal Lake where you can view floating gardens, the traditional houseboats and beautiful mountainous scenery. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2: Srinagar Local Sightseeing

The tour in the morning starts with a sightseeing trip to Srinagar. More to see is the beautiful Mughal gardens such as the Shalimar Bagh and the Nishat Bagh that have well-laid terraces, fountains and beautiful views of the Dal Lake. Next, the old Shankaracharya Temple that has a scenic view of the city and valley beyond. During the evening visit local markets where there are Kashmiri handicrafts, carpets and Pashmina shawls. Day 3: Srinagar – Gulmarg Excursion

Breakfast and then a drive to Gulmarg which is one of the most popular hill resorts in Kashmir. Gulmarg is characterized by giant green meadows, snow-white mountains, and natural scenic landscapes.
