Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar

Get off the plane at Srinagar and go to your hotel or houseboat. Spend some time by yourself near Dal Lake, stroll down Boulevard Road, and see how relaxed life is in Kashmir. You may be able to take a shikara ride in the evening, depending on the weather.

Day 2

Day 2: Srinagar City Tour

Start your day in the Mughal Gardens: Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. Visit Hazratbal Shrine and enjoy the beauty of the lakeside. Later, go to the local marketplaces to buy spices, dried fruits, and traditional pashmina clothes. Enjoy the peaceful sunset at Dal Lake to end the day.

Day 3

Day 3: Excursion to Sonmarg (80 km)

Go to Sonmarg, which means "Meadow of Gold." The path goes through woods and streams in the mountains. You may ride a pony towards Thajiwas Glacier or just enjoy the scenery. Come back to Srinagar by night.

Day 4

Day 4: Srinagar to Gulmarg (52 km)

Go to Gulmarg, a prominent ski resort. Walk through pine trees and meadows, or take the Gulmarg Gondola, which is the highest cable car in Asia. In the winter, you may do things in the snow, and in the summer, you can enjoy the green slopes. Stay overnight in Gulmarg.

Day 5

Day 5: Gulmarg to Srinagar

Day 6

Day 6: Srinagar to Pahalgam (90 km)

Move towards Pahalgam via saffron fields of Pampore and the old remains of Avantipura. After checkin, enjoy the pleasant ambiance of Lidder Valley. Explore the town on foot or relax by the riverbank.

Day 7

Day 7: Pahalgam Sightseeing

Spend this day seeing Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari—each noted for stunning beauty and Bollywood backgrounds. You may chose horse rides or riverfront strolling walks. Return to your accommodation by evening.

Day 8

Day 8: Pahalgam to Srinagar

Return to Srinagar at a comfortable pace. Stop at local fruit stores on the route. The remainder of the day is at leisure for shopping for papiermâché artefacts, shawls and wooden crafts.

Day 9

Day 9: Excursion to Yousmarg (47 km)

Visit Yousmarg, a lovely upland meadow surrounded by deep trees. Spend calm time along the river, enjoy soft walking routes or just admire the pristine natural beauty. Drive back to Srinagar by nightfall.

Day 10

Day 10: Trip to Doodhpathri (40 km)

Head to Doodhpathri, popularly nicknamed the Valley of Milk because of its milky streams and beautiful meadows. Walk around the grazing fields, snap shots and enjoy the cool wind. Return to Srinagar for the night.

Day 11

Day 11: Departure from Srinagar

Spend a relaxing morning before travelling to the airport for your continuing trip back to Vadodara.
