Detailed Itinerary
Start your journey from Meerut to Jaisalmer through train or flight (usually connecting through Delhi or Jaipur). On arrival, a representative of the Rajasthan cab will receive you and take you to your pre-booked hotel. Spend your evening on holiday, search for the nearby markets or enjoy the sunset scene in the Gadisar lake. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, start a tour of your city along the Grand Jaisalmer Fort, also known as Sonar Quilla. Walk through your streets filled with ancient temples, merchant houses and museums. Visit the complex patvon mansion, Tazia tower and government museum. The end of the day in the big garden, a peaceful place with royal cenotaphs. Return to your hotel for the night.
Post breakfast, go to Vyas Chhatrai, which is a beautiful senotaff offering panoramic views of the city. Head of the local Desert Culture Center and Museum to understand Rajasthani traditions and dress. Later, walk in colorful local markets and shop for handicrafts, puppets and embroidered objects. Stay in your hotel overnight.
Check out and proceed towards the famous Sam Sand Tibba. On the way, investigate Kuldhara village and Khaba Fort. On arrival, check in your desert camp organized by Rajasthan cab.
