Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Khajuraho to Jaisalmer - Travel and Relaxation
Take a train or flight from Khajuraho to Jaisalmer (through Delhi or Jaipur). When you reach Jaisalmer, a representative of Rajasthan cab will pick you up and take you to your hotel. After check-in, take some rest. In the evening, you can visit Gadisar Lake to enjoy a calm and peaceful sunset. Return to the hotel for dinner and stay overnight.
Day 2: Jaisalmer Fort and Havelis Tour
After breakfast, start searching for Jaisalmer. First, the famous Jaisalmer Fort, also known as Sonar Quilla, is made of Golden-Yellow Stone. Then, look at the beautiful patvon mansion, the mansion of Salim Singh and the mansion of Nathmal, which are grand old houses with amazing carvings and artwork. In the evening, go to the local market to buy Rajasthani handicrafts. Return to the hotel for night stay.
Day 3: Sam Sand Dunes - Desert Fun
Have breakfast and check out of the hotel. Then near Sam Sand Tibba, the most famous desert area near Jaisalmer. On the way, go to the village of scary and historic Kuldhara. In the desert camp organized by Rajasthan cab, enjoy a camel ride, see folk dances and music, and eat a delicious Rajasthani dinner. Stay overnight in a desert tent.
Day 4: Tanot Mata Temple and Longwala Yatra
After breakfast, visit the Tanot Mata temple near the Indo -Pakistan border. Then go to the Longwala War Memorial, where you will learn about the brave soldiers of the 1971 war. Return to your desert camp for the night.
Day 5: Return to Khajuraho
