Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Udaipur – The Lake City Welcomes You
Fly or train from Tirupati to Udaipur (if from Hyderabad, that will be wonderful). Get picked up from the airport or the railway station by our Rajasthan Cab driver and dropped off at your hotel. Rest for a while and then begin your tour by visiting Fateh Sagar Lake. Enjoy the serene waters and the Aravalli hills view. Proceed to Moti Magri, where there is the statue of Maharana Pratap.
Evening: Relax at a serene sunset at Ambrai Ghat and dine at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the City Palace lit up.
Day 2: Udaipur Heritage Walk – Palaces, Temples, and Streets
Have breakfast in the morning, then visit Udaipur's most iconic sight known as the City Palace. The grand palace is a fusion of Rajput and Mughal styles and a bird's eye view over Lake Pichola. Walk through the museum, balconies, and ancient rooms that are brimmed with royal elegance. In the evening, explore Jagdish Temple and walk through the bustling local bazaars like Hathipole. At night, enjoy the exciting boat ride on Lake Pichola and watch Jag Mandir and the Lake Palace shining in the evening sky.
Day 3: Day Excursion to Kumbhalgarh – Impressive Walls and Stunning Views
Breakfast and then take a day-long trip to Kumbhalgarh Fort, located about 85 km from here. Kumbhalgarh is one of the strongest forts of Rajasthan with a 36 km long fort wall.second in the world. Visit the ancient gates, temples, and courtyards inside the fort. Lunch at a local restaurant and in the evening back to Udaipur. Relax in the hotel or wander around in the city.
Day 4: Visit Chittorgarh – The Pride of Rajputs
Have an early breakfast in the morning, then travel to Chittorgarh, it is India's largest fort. Explore some of the major attractions like Vijay Stambh, Kirti Stambh, Rani Padmini Palace, and Rana Kumbha Palace. Listen to motivational stories of Rajput history from your local guide. In the evening, get back to Udaipur and have a relaxing dinner.
Day 5: Culture and Crafts at Shilpgram
Take your day to experience Rajasthani tradition and art. Visit Shilpgram, a rural village near Udaipur where local handicrafts, music, and dance performances can be viewed. It is a good place to shop for handmade goods and experience rural life. Later, visit the Saheliyon Ki Bari, which is a beautiful garden containing lotus pools and fountains. At night, ride the ropeway from Doodh Talai to Karni Mata Temple and have a panoramic view of Udaipur.
Day 6: Departure from Udaipur
After breakfast, depart from your hotel. Your Rajasthan Cab driver will leave you at the railway station or airport to depart for Tirupati. You are leaving Udaipur with memories of royal palaces, peaceful lakes, and prosperous culture.
