On arrival at Khajuraho, you will meet our escorting tour manager who will assist you with a transfer to the pre-booked hotel from Jaipur to Khajuraho Taxi. After relaxing, enjoy the light and sound show at Khajuraho. The Western Group of Temples complex hosts evening light and sound show to recall the life and moments of the great Chandela Kings and mark the story of these ancient temples from the 10th century to the present day. This 50 minutes show is held every and it runs in both Hindi and English. Later, return for an overnight stay.
On the 2nd day after breakfast, get ready to head for Western Group of Temples and Eastern Group of Temples.
Western Group of Temples is on the main road set beside the path leading to Matangeshwar Temple where you must visit. The boundary wall of the temple complex and the museum are on the opposite side. The wall surrounds and protects the temples within this large rectangular complex and there is only one entry point. At the Western Group, you will see some of the most sensational temples in the world.
Eastern Group of Temples is the khajur sagar and the old village of Khajuraho. On one of the paths to the village is a modern whitewashed structure with a large red and orange statue. The statue is still worshipped which is one of the oldest images to be found in Khajuraho. The images are of Lord Hanuman, the monkey king.
After completing the sightseeing tour, return to the hotel followed by an overnight stay.
