This is not only spirituality but, for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts, it has been an experience. Start your day with Gobind Sagar Lake-the artificial reservoir created by Bhakra Dam-boating, fishing, and photography go without saying with this backdrop.
Visit Pong Dam after lunch, more familiarly known as Maharana Pratap Sagar. Excellent bird sanctuary that houses all those migratory birds, variety aplenty so this is definitely good for the love of nature by a short trek across the surroundings that would make any person appreciate and admire the surroundings fantastic green.
It ends with a quiet sun set view at Takarla Village. It is an offbeat, not-so-popular scenic view place that gives some great valley views.

Here, too, the land is known for the Tibetan culture and vistas, for it boasts the Dalai Lama Temple Complex and Bhagsunag Waterfall. Shop at McLeod Ganj Market for authentic Tibetan handicrafts and local souvenirs. See War Memorial as tribute to Indian soldier and enjoy eye-catching views from Naddi View Point toward Dhauladhar ranges.
